He absolutely knows how to push you right to the edge, but also knows when not to. If you're injured, run down, or just not 100%, he may throw a fist at you (kidding), adjust, and still find a way to keep you moving forward. You might complain mid-set. You might question your life choices during your workout. But you'll leave stronger, more confident, and weirdly excited to come back. Workouts are efficient, challenging, and goal-driven, and I've seen real progress since training with him. Due to work I had to do the 5am classes, I was afraid I was going to not be able to wake up, but after the first session I was hooked!! Perla is awesome, she is very good at pushing and modifying when needed. She won’t let you slack off. It is a good push though. Their motto is “It’s doable” and as hard as it is, it is doable. Love you Perla!!

The facility is great - quiet, clean, and incredibly welcoming. I've only worked with one instructor - Taylor - and she has been absolutely amazing! I am so much stronger and feel so much better overall, and I have never left a session where my knee injuries were exacerbated (which did happen when I tried pilates elsewhere before finding this studio). I highly recommend Taylor and Bourne Pilates!!“

I have lost around 24 pounds, feel and look better, and have never been more focused on my health.I began working with Jeff on my fitness journey in October 2022. I did one-on-one training for the first 12 months and then transitioned to his group classes.Highlights:Workouts: Jeff incorporates warm-ups, speed and power exercises, cardio, and lifting. No session is the same, and you have the opportunity to learn new exercises or achieve a new PR on a deadlift.Personalization: Jeff personalizes your workout plan to meet your nutrition, fitness, and weight loss goals. As someone with health limitations, this was crucial for me. Due to my health and COVID, I stopped working out consistently and had gained nearly 30 pounds. Jeff’s knowledge of rehab and his emphasis on proper form and technique helped me establish a routine and learn barbell lifts I never thought I could do.Game Planning: It seems simple, but Jeff goes over your goals and progress at the start of every month. This is a helpful reset when you find yourself off track with your routine. It is also an opportunity to reflect and set new goals for the month.Schedule: For my one-on-one sessions, Jeff accommodated my work schedule and understood when I needed to cancel or reschedule a session. Now that he has a mobile app, scheduling his group sessions, which are in the morning and evening, is super easy.Mobile App: This has been a great tool! So once I settled in Cali, I started to look for a similar fitness studio around. I tried a public gym before but not really like its vibe. When GOOGLE search brought GetUFit to me, I was excited and reached out to Jennifer immediately. There's no membership fee or anything looked like a trap. It's simple and straightforward. The next morning I received a call from Jennifer and everything went very efficient and smooth. I got to start my workout three days after our call.
I feel so blessed that I found GetUFit and the soul of the studio---Jennifer. She is a highly disciplined and organized person but treats her clients with full sincerity and kindness. Jennifer is more than professional. She gets me more fit and stronger in about two weeks. I have an amazing time doing workout with her. By the way, the studio is always clean and sanitized, private and with lots of good music.
I would come back to train with Jennifer every summer for sure.“

The facility is clean with great workout equipment. Group sessions are fun. You get to know everyone there, it’s like a family. Honestly I looked forward to seeing and workout with the other gym members. The open gym is nice as well to go and do your own thing. So this is what they call a Semi-private gym. You can either pay the gym a membership fee to get a certain level of access or pay a personal trainer to train with.
I have been training here for a little over 2 years. If you train with a PT here, YMMV. The trainer you have really makes or breaks your experience. As with many of these types of gym. It is a bit difficult to choose or even know which PTs train here as the website does not list them all and the front doors are now locked so it might be difficult to just walk in and inquire about services here. I would suggest checking out their social media first to contact them.
The first trainer I trained with here was fine but I eventually met Kalie and switched over to her. And OMG what a world of a difference. Kalie is knowledgeable, prepared, consistent, and most importantly empathetic. As a woman, I needed a PT that would not villainize food/sugar, provide honest feedback while normalizing our bodies, but keeping me on track with my personal fitness goals. Her approach is truly personalized and she leads with compassion and heart. Kalie is also so reliable and consistent with scheduling which is something I prioritized and needed as a full time working mom. I highly recommend Kalie!“
