“This review is long overdue. Jeff is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and charismatic trainer. If you’re looking to kickstart your fitness journey in 2024 or perfect your routine, I highly recommend Jeff as a personal trainer. I have lost around 24 pounds, feel and look better, and have never been more focused on my health.I began working with Jeff on my fitness journey in October 2022. I did one-on-one training for the first 12 months and then transitioned to his group classes.Highlights:Workouts: Jeff incorporates warm-ups, speed and power exercises, cardio, and lifting. No session is the same, and you have the opportunity to learn new exercises or achieve a new PR on a deadlift.Personalization: Jeff personalizes your workout plan to meet your nutrition, fitness, and weight loss goals. As someone with health limitations, this was crucial for me. Due to my health and COVID, I stopped working out consistently and had gained nearly 30 pounds. “Dr. Joe is THEE best! I’ve suffered—not exaggerating, with Frozen shoulder since 2019. After numerous visits (and bills) with chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapy, and even surgery, I found temp or no relief. After only two visits with Dr. Joe, I was already seeing results. Here I am about two months of visits and I’ve had more relief and progress with range of motion than I’ve have in three years! I’ve referred a coworker with similar issues and she’s just as thrilled with her results. Now, her husband may start seeing Dr. Joe too! He definitely knows how the body works and gives great exercises that are easy to do and give nearly immediate results. “I just celebrated my 1 yr anniversary at Training by Tye. I’m so very happy I joined a year ago before my birthday. Best present to myself ! During covid I started lifting weights and found out that I really liked it. Of course I needed help with form and progression because I didn’t really know what I was doing. Soon after I saw a post from my friend recommending her gym. I was hesitant and nervous about joining another gym and not sticking with it. Well I can honestly say that Training By Tye is not like any other gym. Coach Tye is awesome and she really knows her stuff! She is a knowledgeable and experienced trainer that really puts in the work for you. All you have to do is show up and want to put in the effort to see results. The workouts are well planned to hit several major muscle groups per session / per week. They are challenging and fun. If you need modifications she always has you covered. The classes are small so you get personal attention. The other members are nice, welcoming and encouraging. There is no judgment, everyone is at a different place in their health and fitness journey and we cheer each other on to do our best. Tye covers all aspects of health and fitness, in class, through email and on various social media platforms. The workouts are different every month and you never get bored. I'm eating better and moving more than I was prior to joining. I have more energy and I sleep better. I’m less stressed and I know I am definitely stronger and leaner than I was a year ago. I look forward to my workouts and really enjoy going to the gym because Tye makes it fun and rewarding. If you are looking to get fit, lose weight, gain muscle, become more active, or just improve your overall health then I highly recommend TBT!!“

“Love coming here! First the equipment concentrates on the perfect load of weight for you, state of the art computerized, saves your progress so you can see how you are strengthening. Amazing! The concept of a 20 min one on one workout is wonderful. The coaches help to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly, help with good form, and encourage you. All in 20 minutes! You can’t beat that! You really have to try it to understand this concept. I don’t think you will walk away. On top of this, the coaches are knowledgeable and great to work with. If you want to work on slowing done the aging process or working and only have 20 minutes twice a week to work out your whole body, check this out.“

“I came to Destiny, because I was in a car accident, 2 years ago. I had several herniated disc's and I was no longer able to do exercises that I was previously able to do. I loved lifting weights and found myself depressed that I could no longer do what I enjoyed. It took months of rehab and acupuncture to finally be somewhat functional. I started using the peloton bike, which I love, but it's not going to give me the results and flexibility I need. So, I ventured out and found Destiny. I've been with her for about 10-12 sessions and OMG what a difference. I was very tight everywhere and on session 3 I felt like a different person. I could twist, my shoulders are relaxing, I'm more aware of my breathing. I'm just so so very happy I found her. Life changing!!! I just love her positive vibes and thankful that I found her.“

“During Covid, I 82much, fell off my exercise routine, and gained weight. Eeek! I found myself in need of a trainer, to train the trainer. Thankfully, one of the best was just minutes away from my home.I started training with Jennifer in September of 2022, and gradually found my way back to fitness. Jennifer tailored the sessions to my specific needs, and the music playlist motivated me to push through the toughest workouts.I also did a few hypnotherapy sessions with Marva Jackson. Marva helped me to refocus my energy towards my health, and wellness. My sleep has improved, and my days are filled with positive affirmations.I lost the weight that found me during Covid, and I'm exercising 4-6 days per week. The work outs are efficient, focused, challenging, and effective. Coach Josh meets you where you are at every day and is always warm and friendly at 5 in the morning. I really enjoy coming here. “Kacy is a dynamic trainer with years of experience that show through his training style. He is diligent and takes his time to know your goals. He doesn't let you get off easy; so if you're are looking for a foofoo trainer, this is not the person for you. But, if you are someone who is serious about attaining certain body and/or fitness/lifestyle goals, Kacy is definitely your guy. He will push you to your limits, to be the best version of yourself, while having fun doing it. If you are willing to put in the work, he will get you to exactly where you want to be. I've worked with numerous trainers in the past and can detect pretty well when someone is bullshit or doesn't know his craft as well as he makes it seem. Kacy really is knowledgeable, especially when you can feel and see your body changing. I recommend him 1000000000%. Give him a try and you won't be disappointed!“

“Ok, first off this Is no longer David's Boot Camp.. The owner is the wonderful Yvette. She is almost always at the classes to either run them or offer her assistance with any questions you have. Which I would guess are mostly diet (noun not verb) related. Healthy eating is stressed.. we are reminded at the end of each class to not waste our work-out with poor food choices. It helps, when asked point-blank what we are eating when we get home. Forces you to eat better :) When you join, you get a personalized meal plan, depending on what your goals are. Meal plans are easy and versatile- no crazy ingredients or difficult cooking involved (like I've seen before) You can choose to be weighed and/or measured every few weeks. Its not a humiliating process (like in front of the class) but usually before or after one-on-one. Everything is recorded so you can track your progress. She aides with additional tips and suggestions to tweak your diet if needed. The other trainer there is the lovely Miss Kim. Both these women challenge us daily. but not in the screaming at you way lol They make you WANT to try harder..go faster. Neither of them just stands there with the stopwatch. They are sweatin it out with the rest of us. Which is nice :) When we shift exercises, the trainer will come around and make sure everybody's form is correct so there are no injuries. Classes are 30 minutes long. They offer at least one class (sometimes 3)every day of the week, which is helpful. Sunday's class is the only Hour long one. And it focuses on ABS. and who cant use that?? lol So, are the facts. The rest? OMG this is so much fun lol I did little to NO exercise prior to beginning this almost exactly one year ago. By almost, I mean, all I did was hike. gym membership had dust on it from years of not being used :) I do not exaggerate lol My goal was not to lose weight, but to tone. and I have definitely seen a difference. What makes this so fun, is that the exercises change from class to class. I never get bored! Dumbbells, kettle balls, sliders, resistance bands, jump ropes, medicine balls, balance disks.. are all provided. Some days none of that is used and we are doing obstacle courses, which are done inside the Gymnasium, where the classes are conducted. My only discomfort, is, their night classes (offered tues and thurs nights @ 6:15pm) are done outside, due to the gym actually being used by gymnasts. Not a problem for most, but sometimes its still SO hot!.. i'm ridiculously sensitive to heat..let alone adding exercise to that equation. lol again, this is JUST a me problem. Its IS shaded, and I honestly haven't seen anyone else affected by it but me lol There are many different skill levels per class, so everyone goes at their own pace, and trainers encourage everyone constantly... .and not in that fake way they do in classes at your regular gym! If you have an injury and have been cleared to begin moderate exercise by your Dr, they help to modify each exercise for you in class.“

“Fear the Speed is an excellent facility to have your athlete enrich their skills. Coach Mike is an excellent person and coach who really cares about his players. He is very flexible and affordable and my son improved tremendously in his speed and agility for soccer. Coach Mike talks to them and motivates them.“

“Life changing...let me explain: this is the first gym I've felt totally comfortable at, and in turn, want to return to. Darlene is the trainer and so so smart. She's more than a trainer. She knows how the body & muscles work and uses that knowledge to help heal & strengthen your body. I've never felt stronger! I went in with an injury in my back, and she was very specific about how I worked out & what I did so that I didn't hurt myself more and she helped my body build muscles in other areas to easy my back pain. I've never in my life left a review for a gym, but I had to with this one. It's inclusive and welcoming. I KNOW the gym can be intimidating, especially if you haven't been in awhile, but Darlene is so welcoming and she truly cares about your health. She's easy to talk to and knows her stuff! I've seen her training folks in their 60s & 70s as well as kids. I'm actually signing my 13yr old softball player up to train with Darlene this spring! Bottom line, if you're looking for a gym that doesn't give off typical gym vibes, that is inclusive, and run by a super smart woman that will help your body in ways you never knew, THIS IS THE PLACE!“
