Apex Body Boot Camp in Covina has been one of the best decisions I've made for my health, both physically and mentally. From the very first day you can tell this isn't just another gym, it's a real community led by people who genuinely care. Elder and Perla are amazing at what they do.
Perla is super welcoming and supportive. She makes you feel comfortable no matter where you're starting at. Elder is the one who pushes you hard. He has that no excuses mentality but in a good way. He'll make sure you're working and not cutting corners, but you can tell he actually cares about your progress.
The workouts are no joke. It's real boot camp style training. You're going to get pushed, but that's exactly why it works. Since I started I've lost fat, gained muscle, and stayed consistent which was always my biggest struggle before. I've also learned a lot, especially when it comes to pushing myself and trying heavier weight instead of playing it safe.
One thing that really stands out is how they check in on you. If you miss a few days because of work or life, they'll actually reach out. That kind of accountability makes a big difference and keeps you on track.
The schedule is also really convenient. They have early morning classes if you want to get it done before work, morning options and even one on one sessions, plus evening classes around 5, 6, and 7. They even have Saturday morning class so you can stay consistent on the weekends too. On top of that, everything is super easy to book through the MINDBODY app. You just open it, pick your class, and you're set. It makes staying consistent a lot easier.
Overall this place is more than just a workout. It's structure, motivation, and a group of people that want to see you improve. If you're serious about getting results and want trainers who actually care, this is the spot.
