“Always good experience. I've taken my two young budgies to Dr. Restati few times, he is very honest & gentle to my birds. Reasonable fees not like some places over charging. I will continue to go to him again if ever needed.“

“I can't thank Dr. CC and her AMAZING team enough for the exceptional care they provided to my cat and I. From the booking experience to the appointment itself and payment, each step of this process was 11/10. I live all the way in Oakland but this hospital was recommended to me by friends, and I am really glad I was able to be seen with such short notice. They really care about transparency and making you feel at ease.My cat was having some urinary issues and I felt comfortable asking questions about the procedures and the cost throughout the visit. Dr. CC and her team are very up-front about all the details and what is best for your animal. This was the best vet experience ever and I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone who has a furry friend. Special shout out to team member Myls who assisted me with booking and confirmation of the appointment. You and your fur baby will be in amazing hands with this team!“

“I just took my dog here for TPLO surgery and I was really scared! I wanted everything to go well since my dog is approaching 9 y.o. Dr. Press made this experience so seamless, Winston was eating and drinking the moment we got home. No hiccups. Super clean incision. Scheduled follow ups included in the price. They dealt directly with my pet insurance, too. Thank you a million times Dr. Press and staff! One week out from surgery and he's already feeling like himself again. The surgery, blood work etc was pricey but you get what you pay for. They kept him overnight to observe him and gave me updates. if you've been looking for a sign to get pet insurance, this is it.“

“This place is the best. So caring for our (somewhat difficult) 3 year old cattle dog since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve sent tons of panic emails over the years of various health scares whether we’re in town or away and they always respond promptly and really care. Grateful for all the people at Presidio Way!!“

“BCPH has always been so good to us.They respect appointments and run on time, they’ve taken us last minute for emergencies before, they communicate well, their billing practices are fair. They’ve always been a pleasure. My only thing to note is that in going to them for 2 years, we never once met a vet in person. I’m not sure if it’s a covid policy that was prolonged, but they do not allow people into exam rooms and the vet calls you to discuss results. This never bothered us because we didn’t have any serious issues of concern but I can see why other patients may seek a more in-person interaction.“

“The entire staff at Burlingame Family Pet Hospital are fantastic. Dr. Dorothy Hoppe is the best. She is not only a great doctor but takes the time to get to know not only your pet, but you. She listens, a rare quality among doctors of any type. The rest of the doctors are much the same. The administrative staff are always kind and helpful. I recommend this place highly.“

“I highly recommend Dr Grossbard. I've been coming here for 5+ years now, and I will not go to any other vet. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains the context of his recommendations while also answering any questions that you can throw at him. AllCare also does not try to upsell you with everything. They only recommend what is fair and needed. If you need a vet, he's the one!“

“I have had Dr. Doe at Nob Hill Cat Clinic look after my cat veterinary needs since the late 1990s. I find her to be very knowledgeable, and also communicative; she always answers my questions and also asks questions about my cats and their situations. And she is wonderful with cats...they can pick up on the fact that she cares. The office has just been remodeled and is very clean and nice. You can't do better than NHCC for cat care in San Francisco. Edit: Dr. Doe retired in 2022. Her replacement, Dr. Gonzales, is quite a bit younger than her, but is caring and seems knowledgeable.“

“I can’t give this team enough stars! From reception, billing and of course Dr. Schwach. You are all amazing! 4 TPLO surgeries, various eye and allergy visits and most recently the passing of our beloved Sissy, during this hard time they all represented themselves like family. Thank you“

“Great hours , appointments available, wonderful efficiency and response. Yes they are a bit higher in price, but you do get what you pay for. Dr. Richard Chu and his assistant had an excellent bedside manner with my scared cat. Recommended.“

“An amazingly caring, knowledgable staff. When my canary had an eye infection a month ago, this place saved both him and I… we able to be seen quickly and with high efficacy (detailed correspondance with the veterinarian and full explanations of the medications we were given).I am so very grateful for this vet hospital as there were very few other available avian vets, and I did not feel out of place at all bringing in a bird (especially due to his small size). The exam went smoothly and my canary was handled with care. They are also highly organized and responsive with emails. The front desk staff are pleasures to correspond with and extremely respectful of both pets and owners. (They were even so kind as to offer to keep my bird behind their desk if I wanted to leave for a short walk (as I arrived to the appointment approx. 20 minutes early)).I can also tell the place is kept very clean, as I (sadly) have allergies to dogs and cats, but did not have any allergic symptoms while there.Dr. Chan is the best, and I am very thankful for this veterinarian clinic in San Francisco. I would really like to recommend their avian services for the depth and ease of veterinary care.(Note: Posted photos were taken with verbal permission).“

“I’ve been taking my dog here since I adopted her in 2019 and every time we go it is a good experience. The vets are always very helpful and kind and answer all my questions. I have a very anxious pup and everyone that works there is always so patient and sweet to her.I’m sad we’re moving away and have to change vets but definitely would recommend Urban Pet Hospital to others for their pets :)“

“To the douchebag pos named "Donald McClintic" who just left this place a nasty review on 03/25/24 - I would like to chime in as I was a client who was there and witnessed the whole thing. First of all, this person left out a ton of information about the whole situation. He had never called ahead of time to see if his bird could get seen on an emergency. The owner told the receptionist he just "looked up the clinic" and decided to come (what an idiot). This place is by appointments only and you always need to call ahead of time. When he walked in the staff was all extremely busy with other appointments and emergencies. The receptionist was extremely kind and insisted that the bird needed to be in a cage, and then he would have to see if the doctor could attend to the bird. The owner then blew up at the receptionist and refused to wait. He told the receptionist it had to be now. The receptionist even offered to give the owner a list of other vets to call for emergencies while they waited on the doctor. The guy told the receptionist he doesn't have a cell phone and couldn't call other vets (again, a f&*king moron). Once one of the other vet assistants brought out a carrier for the bird and to check on the bird, the owner lost all his patience and began to just berate the receptionist saying "you should all be ashamed of yourselves for turning down a bleeding bird!" He scolded the staff and then just angrily walked out. So what's the story here? Well, idiots who don't know this facility and just decide to walk in will always be greeted with the same message that they need to have an appointment first. This guy could have waited and I bet the staff would have been able to help him but he was too impatient. Too bad for him. Bay Area Bird & Exotics Hospital is a wonderfull facility. They care about all clients and patients and will always do their best to help people. You just have to call them to see if they are able to help. It's a small staff with ONE DOCTOR. Be realistic people. Also, if you go to Donald's yelp page you'll see what kind of a douchebag he is. His only other Yelp review is about buying a firearm for his family. What a piece of work. - Mike Hunt.“
