I have been bringing my dogs (& even a guinea pig!) to Presidio Way Vet Hospital for probably 20 years. The staff is super accommodating and thoughtful, especially Dr Helmer, who is now taking care of my 3rd dog. Each of my dogs have had different medical issues at different stages of their lives, and Dr Helmer has walked me through it all. She is calm, honest and practical whenever there is a decision to be made. Whether it is what food to feed your dog or something much more serious. Dr. Helmer and the entire team at Presidio Way Pet Hospital are truly exceptional. I have two cats who receive their care here, and my sister also brings her cat to the practice. We have consistently had such a positive experience with both the quality of care and the way Dr. Helmer and her team treat both their patients and their owners.

She takes the time to explain things thoroughly, answers questions thoughtfully, and has such a calm and welcoming demeanor that immediately puts you… read full review
Presidio Way is the absolute best! My pup has pretty bad chronic allergies, so we’re visiting fairly frequently but I appreciate Dr. Helmer, all of the other doctors, vet techs and staff SO much! They’re always transparent about costs, work to make sure I’m saving where I can, and they care about my baby Ziggy as much as I do. Visiting the office is always so nice and my shy pup loves the whole staff so much. I’m so grateful to them for their genuine care and incredible practice!!
