I went here for over a year until I moved. My dog was from Asia and had a bad surgery. They corrected the surgery and had a smooth recovery. I was really happy after I had gotten multiple consultations about that. They also don’t have “urgent care” fees like other vets in sf if you want to come same day or book next day. I’ll still go here if I’m in town!
I have been taking my dog to Urban Pet Hospital for 6 years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff there are always caring and seem very reasonable to me. They are quick to respond by email and called me multiple times during my dog's dental to give me updates. I've never had trouble booking an appointment and I have never had to wait long in the lobby either.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Urban Pet Hospital. We had just flown into San Francisco from overseas and were only passing through when my dog became sick during the flight. I called Urban Pet Hospital, and they were able to see her within an hour. The staff was incredibly responsive, compassionate, and took wonderful care of her.
Thankfully, it turned out to be nothing serious, but I was extremely grateful for how quickly they helped us and for the genuine care they showed her. If I lived in San Francisco, Urban Pet Hospital would absolutely be my regular veterinary clinic.
