“Once again, Dennis from Smith & Bernal has proven why he's the only roofer I'll call. I recently had concerns about my roof when another roofer, contracted by a neighboring building owner, claimed it needed a $9,000 repair. Thankfully, Dennis was able to come out and inspect it himself--and his assessment put my worries to rest. Contrary to what the other roofer had said, Dennis confirmed that his 2017 repair was holding up exactly as designed. His explanation of the repair's theory and design reassured me that the concerns raised by the other roofer were completely unfounded. Not only did Dennis refuse payment for the visit, but he even touched up a few minor cracks with tar while he was here, calling it "warranty work." For him, this was an opportunity to check in on the quality of his own work--true to the pride he takes in his craft.
