I had a solar system installed by Northstar Solar this past winter, and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. I obtained several bids from different companies, Northstar Solar's bid stood out as very competitive and comprehensive.
They installed REC solar panels and Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries at my home. While the sales quote was brief, the system design, and permit filing were all done meticulously. The entire installation process was seamless. From the initial consultation with Patrick in sales, a virtual meeting with the Company Owner Ryan, to the clear communications from Office Manager Dani, everything was handled professionally and with attention to detail.
Northstar Solar has a fantastic team, from the sales staff to the installation crew and office management; they all work seamlessly together.
I hired them to install ten solar panels along with a Tesla Powerwall. The installation took place on October 14, 2024. After that, of course, PG&E had to give their approval. Since the solar system went live after October 14, 2024, I haven't experienced any issues, but it does seem that the power isn't quite sufficient. This might be due to the weather getting cooler, or perhaps my roof needs more panels. Since I haven't used it for a full month yet, I will keep a close watch and discuss with Northstar how to optimize the system.
