“Found my (only) toilet not working at 8pm when I got home from work. My call was answered immediately. It sounded like an AI answering service so sounded sort of creepy. But they were efficient and got a plumber to me that night within an hour and a half. He was friendly, professional, and fast. And though it was a simple part replacement I thought the price was reasonable for a 9:30pm visit (was $369). Would definitely use again in an emergency.“

“I initially hired Method Remodeling to remodel my guest bathroom. This was my first experience with a home remodeling project and I didn't know much about the process. After interviewing local contractors across a wide cost range, I ultimately went with a general contractor, Method Remodeling, that was mid-range in terms of cost. With the lower quotes, I found that I would essentially be assuming many of the responsibilities and tasks that a good general contractor would typically manage for me. With the higher cost quotes, I found that they were not offering anything more than what Method would provide. Method Remodeling's owner, Doron, went above and beyond to work with me to translate what I wanted into a documented project plan with measurable milestones and requirements. He kept the project on track to successful completion, managing all aspects of the project that a really good general contractor takes care of on your behalf: getting permits, scheduling and managing the various professionals/subcontractors (plumber, electrician, painter, etc.) including a designer that can help you select all of the materials you need and document your specifications in a functional installation design (cabinet height, shower head height, lighting placement, mirror placement, etc.) for the team to work from. Most importantly, Doron was extremely responsive, acting as point of contact and troubleshooting any issues that came up to their resolution. I was so happy with how the guest bathroom turned out that I subsequently hired Method to remodel my half bath and primary (master) bathroom. The end results are exactly what I wanted but much better than what I had originally envisioned. What I found through this experience is that you need a general contractor like Doron with knowledge and integrity that you can trust and rely on to do the right thing. As mentioned in other reviews, he has a very positive attitude and brings that energy to the project. He was extremely invested in the outcome of my projects and I ended up with three beautiful bathrooms that are nothing short of total transformation in terms of aesthetic and function. “The entire AGC team is incredible. My wife and I did a full gut remodel/rebuild on a 1912 house in San Francisco. We took the entire house down to the studs and then moved and replaced all the studs. To say we were terrified is a complete understatement. We talked to several GC's, and were referred to Aaron Gordon by our architect. He stood out from the start, and there was really no question who we'd go with after meeting with him and running through his process. He broke down and explained every aspect of the project, and priced out the entire thing in advance. And this wasn't a rough ballpark quote like you get from most GCs, it was down to every detail. We were always in the loop on every aspect of the project. We had bi-weekly onsite check ins, and they provided weekly summaries of work completed and what was on the schedule for the coming week. We were never in the dark.Most importantly, I am happy to say now that the project is over, there were no surprises, and they finished on time and on budget (slightly below actually). That's quite an accomplishment considering the scope of work involved. Their quality is top notch, and the entire team is 100% professional. Not to mention they are just genuinely really good people. They would repeatedly go above and beyond what's expected. Just as one example (to which there are many), right when we moved in we tried to start garbage service through Recology and have bins sent to our house. Unfortunately Recology was hacked and their systems were down for weeks. We had nowhere to put our garbage, so the AGC team swung by several weeks in a row to literally pick up our personal garbage, just as a courtesy until we finally got bins sent to us. I could rattle off countless examples, but I just wanted to highlight the level of service they provide. I was flat out impressed at how they conducted themselves both professionally and personally.This whole thing could have been so stressful, but the team ensured it never got to that point. I dare say it was even enjoyable. It was amazing to watch our home transform knowing it was in good hands. I have zero hesitation recommending them to anyone starting a new project. “This is long overdue! Or, Navaz, Juan, and their did a phenomenal job remodeling the entire inside of our home. We did a full kitchen and bathrooms gut/remodel, restructured the flow of the back half of our home, added a laundry closet, and redid the bedroom closets to be more efficient. Navaz was our main point of contact and he was very attentive, ensuring that we were well informed along the way. They were able to stay (mostly) on time and budget, even with some unexpected updates that were necessary due to age of the building.The quality of installation for our cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, or flooring were excellent. “We hired K&B Remodeling & Sons to install two replacement French doors at our house. A contractor friend met them when they were engaged on another job down the street, both the contractor and our neighbor were pleased with the job they did. It is a complex job involving a variety of skills--carpentry, finish carpentry and stucco. Yonis and his team at K&B did a great job. We would definitely hire them again.
A couple of high points: they did the job promptly. Unlike some of the other projects around the neighborhood, they didn't start with a bang and then limp across the finish line weeks later. They worked every day from start to finish, arrived on time and all of the workers were always courteous. They worked cleanly--each day and each tradesman cleaned up when their work was finished. There were no piles of trash around the yard! They showed great respect for our home, yard and all of the materials (those doors weren't cheap!). Yonis is a good communicator who keep us appraised of who was coming and when, and if something changed, he let us know.
The job was done on time, on budget and Yonis and I could shake hands at the end and be friends--the sure sign of a good experience. Highly recommended.“

“I was referred to AJO Group by my neighbor who recommended them highly for our soft story retrofit. I’ve had different contractors over the years for various major projects. AJO is the best contracting group I have worked with, starting with Giuseppe the owner/engineer, to the responsive and efficient office manager, to the punctual and friendly work crew.Giuseppe always greets you with professionalism, yet is personable, and is very knowledgeable explaining procedures clearly and concisely. AJO is a one-stop shop taking care of permitting, inspections, and all aspects of the construction. Everything went smoothly and was stress free for me. They took care of everything. New carpeting and other upgrades to the unit affected was put in, and the office manager worked closely with me on the timing of ordering and installation.I was on site often and Giuseppe always communicated what had been completed, what was being worked on, and what was the next step.I had a significant sewer issue just before the retrofit started.
