“I got my HVAC system installed by 3rd gen in 2022, this week the heater stopped working . I gave them a call and Devin and Ceaser visited today to fix the issue. They were at the house right at the appointment time, understood the issue and fixed in few minutes. I found them very knowledgeable and friendly. They explained in detail the cause and how to prevent it in future . The best part was they were so nice they didn’t charge me as it was not a major fix. “I discovered Ambient Experts using a Google search for Bryant HVAC dealers in my neighborhood. Adam recommended pulling an 8-wire thermostat cable to install a true hybrid gas-electric heating system. He finds power extenders to be unreliable and unnecessary in my case. The next morning, he came out with his crew and rewired my Carrier heat pump, Bryant furnace, and EcoBee thermostat. They did a standard dual-fuel system wiring in about 2 hours. It conforms to industry standards, and the price was very reasonable. I am happy, and believe that my system will be much more reliable in the future. I would use them for warranty service any time. I wish I had known about them when I got bids for the job.“

“Ricki and his team at all things good did a great job on our house. They worked on insulation removal and installation and air draft sealing in our attic and crawlspace. They also installed a new heat pump and upgraded our ducts. The team was punctual, professional, and skilled. Toward the end of the project we had a couple of unanticipated requests and they were accommodating and so easy to work with. Now it’s months later and we have enjoyed what is clearly a more insulated and energy efficient home.“

“If there are more than 5 stars to rate this company, Oliver Heating and Air (Vinnie and Dee team) surely deserves more. 2 weeks ago, before this excessive heat felt all over the Bay Area, specially in Tri-Valley, they were able to replace our AC. The previous estimate and recommendation from another heating company was to replace both the ac/furnace at same time (18 year old units), where with Vinnie's assessment, we only need the AC. Phoenix was able to come out the next day and look into my list of heating problems.The gentleman who came out was on time, polite, informative and answered all my questions about upgrades and possible next steps. “This review is for a major HVAC upgrade we did with them in 2021. I really appreciated their detailed back and forth on system design, which allowed me to focus on energy efficiency and comfort (we had them install a variable speed heat pump system). The work was done in schedule and with a lot of attention to detail. All the air vents were redone, which meant enlarging holes in the floor. Something that's potentially messy but came out really nicely. There were only two hiccups: 1. They initially installed the wrong thermostat. A variable speed heat pump needs a specialized wall controller. After I noticed that, they sent a senior technician to have it replaced. 2. Despite being listed as a BayREN contractor, they failed to apply for the rebate for me and even after a lot of prodding, they just didn't do it. It seemed their office staff was completely overwhelmed and their leadership not paying enough attention I still use them for annual service and friends have had great experience with them. I would have given them five stars if not for the rebate debacle.“
