There was a charge for analyzing the problem, but the cost of the 4 1/2 hour repair and parts was $0, it was fully covered by the warranty. “We just had the annual servicing done on our two Valor branded gas fireplaces by this company. I phoned in to get the appointment time and date that I wanted. The technician came to our house right on time and got the two fireplaces cleaned and serviced for a reasonable price. He also brought along a small piece of paper with a reminder on it that FortisBC offers an appliance maintenance rebate for our two units that I could apply for online. We will be making use of this company's services in the future as our needs dictate it.“

“Victoria Coal and Heating took great care of us. We had a plan to convert our oil heating to natural gas, but before we did it we ran out of oil (at Christmas). Vic Coal sent someone by to fill to what we needed until our natural gas install date. The price of the combi system and install was fair, and there were no unexpected costs (even though there was an unexpected moment in the install). Bruce patiently answered all my questions and he and his crew were very professional. Highly recommend.“

“The electrician that completed the work was very professional. The quality of the install was good. There was a small issue with the external outlet that was resolved the next day.

I cannot give this company five stars because of the rude behaviour over the phone. It’s poor customer service to blame the client rather than just having an electrician stop by to investigate and resolve.
