We are absolutely thrilled with South Island Mechanical and their installation of our our new heat pump!
We did our due diligence and chose them for several good reasons including the fact that they are a local company and employ unionized folks.
The whole process, starting with the rebate system, was well-explained, as were our different options.
The team members were punctual, efficient, polite and informed. They also worked seamlessly with another company installing our solar panels.
We highly recommend South Island Mechanical to anyone contemplating making their homes more energy efficient.

Some of the dryer ducts in our strata were coming apart . We had contacted numerous businesses and no one seemed able to assist us. Some said they could help and then essentially ghosted us. Our Property Manager referred us to South Island Mechanical. Sean arrived on site, sized up the problem and got to work. He resolved our problem quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after himself! Thank you so much Sean,we appreciate your friendly, pleasant and efficient work. A good job very well done.
Would recommend for anyone needing HVAC service! Was quoted over $2000 for a repair from a larger company, we were looking for a second opinion and Adam was quick to reach out and help diagnose over the phone at no charge and arrange a technician even though they mainly support commercial. Technician Brent was friendly and explained everything and at a quarter of the original quotes price! Thank you South Island Mechanical!
