We are absolutely thrilled with South Island Mechanical and their installation of our our new heat pump! We did our due diligence and chose them for several good reasons including the fact that they are a local company and employ unionized folks. The whole process, starting with the rebate system, was well-explained, as were our different options. The team members were punctual, efficient, polite and informed. They also worked seamlessly with another company installing our solar panels. We highly recommend South Island Mechanical to anyone contemplating making their homes more energy efficient.

I saw a couple bad reviews that are unfair and borderline savage. South Island Mechanical was very easy to work with, and had exceptional customer service. They were honest and hardworking people and I feel they’re underrated, which is a perfect reason to contact them for HVAC service.

Great company to deal with! They showed up on time as promised, diagnosed the issue with our heat pump quickly, and went and got the replacement part as the unit was up and running in no time. The technician was friendly and courteous and experienced. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone. The customer Service Admin was excellent too!Service: A/C system repair
