“Called Thursday and spoke to Ed. Indicated I lost power in our detached garage. Something was tripping the breaker and I couldn't figure out. I asked if there was initial charge for them to come out and provide estimate and he said No and who does that he exclaimed!!! Now that's unheard of. Ed came by the next day and he introduced himself as the owner. Ed was very pleasant, took a quick peek of the issue and explained the process. There was no pressure. I recommend this company.“

“This company installed our furnace and heat pump, as well as all the ductwork in our remodeled home. They have always been responsive, courteous, and communicative about the time frame they can provide service. I feel valued as a customer. Over the years, they have helped us out of some tight spots of our making (home remodelers can be a little reckless with their fasteners sometimes).I do find that as with all contractors, it's pretty key to be present to make sure whatever technician arrives is doing what you agreed with his/her supervisor should be done. I did have to fix a minor problem (a duct went through the middle of a ceiling when there was a more aesthetic route with a little creative thinking), but otherwise, it has all been stellar.“

“Worked with Rich for a simple electric furnace swap, he came to my place in a couple days after calling and gave me a quote ONE THOUSAND less than three other places. Thought it'd be too good to be true, but nope, outstanding experience all around. Three days after giving him and Cummings the go-ahead, I got a new system installed at the quoted price, and excellent work was done by a couple young technicians. Everyone at Cummings was great to work with, professional with great attitudes. And it was fun talking sports with Rich too. Couldn't recommend Cummings more, not only for the price, but everything else.“

“We've had Vashon Heating and Cooling maintain the propane stove that's been our only heating source for 17 years. And we had them work on our previous house for years before that. Their technicians are always on time, skilled, and efficient. When it came time to install a whole-house, forced-air heat pump system, there wasn't a question of who we'd hire. We wanted a local company we could trust to do good work and not to cut corners and that'd be around for after-installation maintenance. They completed the installation a day earlier than promised and have provided the local, after-installation support we've come to expect from them.
