I’ve always been the kind of person who tries to figure things out myself. When two basement lighting circuits stopped working in my older house, I spent hours checking breakers, switches, wiring, and tracing the problem with a multimeter. The strange part was that the outlets still worked, which sent me down more than a few dead ends and had me questioning my own diagnosis.
