“Daniil from Seattle Heating and Cooling came and did a tune up of our Carrier hybrid heat pump system (it's two different units, one the outdoor heat pump and the other is an electric furnace that kicks in when the heat pump can't handle the cold, which also contains the blower which distributes heat through the ventilation ducts throughout the house). The system cost more than $11,000 so it's a sensitive thing to make sure it's handled correctly. Daniil did among the most thorough inspections of the system I've seen, including pointing out some flaws in the way the electric furnace had been installed by the Carrier dealer back in 2021 and some recommendations on cleaning the system that I could do myself. After having another companies “professional” come out and misdiagnose the issue with our heat, the whole system stopped working while he was “waiting for a part for a few days”.
