“We recently purchased a 25 year old condo and wouldn't you know it, the first cold weekend of the year we fired up the furnace and it worked for around 6 hours before failing. The unit had a cracked heat exchanger. The furnace & AC needed to be replaced as they were very much on their last legs, and we asked 5 companies to provide us a bid. Actually, we asked 15 companies, but 10 different HVAC companies refused to give us a bid either because A) we were in a condo complex (they won't work in condos), or B) we were in Kirkland (some of them don't like working with the Kirkland building Dept.) We don't understand either of these issues as the furnace is attached directly to our unit, and Kirkland has been super easy to work with on the remodel we just did.New Heating & Cooling wasn't just the lowest priced bid, they were one of only two companies that actually designed the system to really fit correctly into our condo unit setup leveraging and utilizing existing copper runs, existing electrical, etc. where appropriate. We signed the quote on a Friday night, and they were installing the following Tuesday morning. The did a complete removal and replacement of the furnace, coil, A/C compressor, fixed an issue in our ducting, and had us up & running in a couple days. The communicated proactively and professionally the entire time. “I'm woefully late in posting this, but I want to commend Ryan and Trevor for saving us last August on the hottest day of the year. Our a/c went out (of course) when it was in the 90s and was 90 degrees in our house alone. When I called Bob's they came out the very next day and Ryan replaced the capacitor and kick-start in our very old unit. I had another question the next day, and Trevor came out to check a "tar plug" on our heater pipe. All was fine ~ and both Ryan and Trevor were literally a Godsend during the heatwave.
