“This studio has been under new ownership since 2022 and I am blown away at how amazing the new owners are, full disclosure I have been a client and now am the GM. I LOVE each and every instructor, they all bring something different to the table whether you are wanting a high energy class or something a little more mellow. The community is phenomenal and while I don't live in MI they treat me like family. Love our friendly staff and welcoming community. Best job ever!“

“I had a shoulder injury and been in constant pain for over 1.5 years until I started seeing Priyanka Gupta for physical therapy. I had seen two other physical therapists for over a year in addition to chiropractor, acupuncturist, and sports medicine specialist. None of them were able to pin point the exact cause of my pain. Priyanka was able to identify the cause of my pain and prescribe appropriate therapy exercises to help me overcome my issues within a few sessions. I am now pain free and able to resume the physical activities that I enjoy. I highly recommend Priyank Gupta.“

“I recently started attending classes here. I really like that the classes are 45 minutes long and you feel like you hit all the major muscle groups in that time. The Pilates table is a little intimidating at first glance with all the pulleys, etc, but all the teachers are helpful and you can also watch the other students if you're stuck. Some of the teaches are tougher than others but they all follow the same basic format. I've been going for a few weeks and can already see more definition in my shoulders and upper arms. The only downside is parking can be scarce. The 3 pack for 45 dollars is a good way to start and see if you like it.“

“I am so grateful to have found Jennifer and New Life Pilates - after I graduated from PT for knee and hip issues, I knew I needed more one-on-one assistance with continuing to build strength and pain-free mobility. I haven’t had any knee or hip pain since I started working with Jennifer, which is amazing!! And, no joke, life changing. Plus, she’s totally delightful to work with - I can tell that she really rejoices with me in how strong I’m getting, and she clearly knows just how much to push me to make even more progress without hurting myself. “Attending yoga classes at BendnMove has been a great addition to my routine the last few months. I started with zero knowledge of yoga or any idea what to expect, but Beth has made it very accessible to a novice like me. She has a very gentle approach and understands that I might not be able to yet do all of the things that more experienced practitioners of yoga can do, and gives me the space to struggle and learn at my own pace. “Tory is fantastic. I contacted her because I was a pretty inactive WFH employee and needed to get up and do something. She was very patient with me as a beginner, and months later we are getting pretty advanced! The results are certainly noticable. Not only do I see more muscle definition in the mirror, I just feel more sturdy and fit in day-to-day activities. Highly recommended!“

“I love the mat classes at Union Pilates! Ashley keeps it fun, supportive, and encourages us to push ourselves. Her beautiful studio brings people together creating an inclusive community. I wanted variety with my workouts and was curious to try pilates. I started off taking private session with Ashley to understand the movements and familiarize myself with the techniques. I quickly transitioned into group mat classses, and I love them! I highly recommend giving Union Pilates a try!“

I've been seeing her regularly for over 2 years and have no plans to stop.I found Jenny while searching for a Pilates after my chiropractor suggested it might help with some of my issues (I had a lot). I was hesitant because I had tried what I thought was Pilates many times in the past and it never seemed to "work" for me. I just couldn't do it! Then I met Jenny. (spoiler alert - Pilates "classes" are NOT the same as 1-1 with Jenny).Jenny is an extremely talented, very impressive individual. Whether you need Pilates, nutrition advice, help reaching personal fitness goals, help recovering from an injury or the miracles of MAT, Jenny is amazing and can help.It's never a cookie cutter workout, always tailored to what your body (and mind) needs or can handle that day. Jenny is attentive as she guides and observes your form, noticing issues and adjusting you or the exercise before you even realize something might be off.I can't say enough positive things about Jenny and would be happy to be a reference if you have any questions.If I posted correctly, that's me and one of my partners in these pictures - I still look at the picture and can't believe I am doing it - and it isn't even the hardest move she throws at us! “I've been an exercise person most of my life and had a 5 year hiatus due to knee pain, then recovery from 2 knee replacements. I've now been doing Lagree for 2 months and I've been blown away at how low impact, yet effective, Lagree has been. The quality of instructors at this studio is amazing. They are beyond caring and provide friendly corrections where needed and assist with modifications if you have any pre-existing issues. The exercises are safe and intense, targeting the entire body and I never leave a class feeling unchallenged.“

“Quaint small but mighty Pilates studio in north Capitol Hill right next to the 49 bus stop. This studio practices traditional mat and reformer Pilates and specializes in small class formats. The front desk staff and all the instructors are very nice and patient, and will walk around the room to correct form. The equipment was clean and in good condition. There is only one single stall bathroom but there usually isn't a long wait for it. It is clean and well-stocked. There are also some storage space to put your bags and shoes, but no lockers, although it is a small enough space that you can still keep your eyes on your belongings during your class. They currently have free community classes on Thursday evenings in February!“

“Great location, good environment and vibe. This studio is more for people who are already familiar with largee and its moves, and don’t need much customization or guidance. The instructor role is more focused on pacing the class and encouraging students, without much teaching or correction. Love the selection of music too!“
