Cathy did such a good job on my eyebrows! I was so nervous about them being too dark, too bulky, etc. but I absolutely love the shape and color. She was extremely thorough about everything she was doing and went through each step of the process! I recommend 12/10 if you want amazing brows let Cathy do them!!!

Sometimes it was because someone was sick and one of the other girls were filling in on their schedule or just because I needed something done asap so I branched out to someone new. Although she is not a curly hair specialist, she supported me as I figured out what does and does not work for me and tolerates my frequent experimentation. We work so hard to grow it out, then I say chop it off! We find the perfect purple that doesn't turn red on me, and I say maybe I want to go back natural...bless her.

I brought my disabled brother in here for the first time because I saw that they were good with children. I walked in and waited for less than 5 minutes and got very quick and wonderful service from Stacie. She was so kind and patient and did a fantastic job. I will definitely be coming back.
the hairstylist stop in middle of braiding a paying client hair to go to the dollar store before they close. She could have did that on her personal time. SMH the website says they suppose close at 9pm but I didn't leave til 11:30. after 9pm the people that wor there was plying spades, listening to explicit music that had curse words in front of me and my 2 young children(thas under the age 10) that was waiting for my other daughter to finish getting her hair done. they don't have any outlets so you charge your phone or anything. I would give this whole barbershop and salon a 0 out of 10. none of the people working there was nice

I came in and had a bad experience. I have been here many times and had amazing experiences. I had wrote a bad review due to that experience but the manager reached out to me and made everything alright! She was sincere and listened to me about what had happened and what went wrong. I really appreciate this and she did not have to make it right but she did and that is something to respect! I will continue to come here and stick with the employees I am used to.
We took out 92 years old Mother in law in to get her nails done. They were very helpful and caring. The communication was excellent, prices were great. Her nails looked great.My mother in law loves her nail color. We will be back.

When our daughter was two, my husband would bring her to get her toes polished often. Fast forward 13 years; we have moved back to the area and needed a place to get pedicures. Our now 15 year old daughter and I went together and we will not go anywhere else. They remembered her from when she was little. I guess not many toddlers get their nails done. Haha
They are as clean as they were when they first opened almost 17 years ago. The attention to detail was so nice. It was actually a pampering. I have been to places where your feet are throbbing when you leave.

Unbelievable massage!
I had one hour deep tissue today with Ashley. I probably was the best massage of my life. Great pressure, worked my tough, stressed shoulders… really pulled all the tension out of me. This is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.

I had a lot of trouble finding a good esthetician in the past, but Darla truly stands out. She is not only talented but also warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. This is not referencing carpet cleaning, but dryer vent cleaning.
Andy was right on time, explained the procedure in detail and got right to work. I was in a meeting elsewhere, but my wife was very impressed that he took the time clean between the dryer and washer and removed what looked to be a lint and dirt factory. Too, the 'clean vent' light on the dryer no longer pops on.
Regarding carpet cleaning, that is on our 'to-do' list and we'll call Heaven's Best of Central Virginia for that task a bit down the road.

The team did an amazing job and were all so kind! After 4.5 months in the NICU it’s nice to have a fresh start at home with everything clean! I am very pleased with my new flooring. The installers did a great job. I would suggest that the installers wear shoe covers as I had several shoe print marks left on my new and other floors.

They chose the correct type of windows for this house, not to expensive, not to cheap. Their workmanship was excellent and the crew as a team, knowing which role was his. They were able to replace all 19 windows in one day.
Their customer service is extremely helpful for example they even filled out the Manufacturers warranty for me.

Green Akers Pest Control is the best. I noticed evidence of German roaches and called Green Akers as I had used them in the past and was very pleased. Rory came the same day on his way back from out of town. He treated the entire house, even though I only noticed roaches in the kitchen. I also had ants and he treated for those as well. I can't say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend them.

These guys were excellent to work with from start to finish. I struggled to find people who worked with Coir matting and these had that expertise. In addition, they seeded for me prior to install. They would have finished the work faster if it weren’t for some of my own contractors holding them up. My land is looking better than ever. Tyler was responsive throughout, Troy talked me through options I had without ever trying to sell me on any products (in fact he saved me money) and Jancy’s site visit set us up for success. We worked through Garcia's Tree Service to take down a tree and through them the Stump Doctor completed the job by grinding the stump and restoring the spot. Excellent, fast, reasonably priced.
Reece and his crew are INCREDIBLE, truly incredible! We will never use another arborist as long as we live in Lynchburg (Reece, you're never allowed to retire, haha). They took down a monster of a tree with several branches over our house...and left it unscathed! Such remarkable skill and acumen! Not only did they do the tree cutting with care, they left our yard looking squeeky clean and the wood in a beautifully organized pile. I'd leave 10 stars if I could! Thanks again!

Top shelf company from start to finish. Cameron came right out and gave a free estimate and his crew arrived to remove a large dead tree in our backyard as soon as the weather allowed. They finished the work this afternoon by grinding the stump and removing all debris. They even cut some nice fire pit sized logs up and stacked them for us. I can’t recommend this company highly enough!

Like many people, I don't like going to the dentist and I've had bad experiences in the past but this place is very different!
I’ve had a significant amount of dental work done at Lynchburg Family Dentistry, and I can honestly say the level of care here stands out.
Dr. Draper handled my initial treatment and did an excellent job. The rest of my care has been with Dr. Raia, and he has been consistently compassionate, patient, and extremely skilled. You never feel rushed, talked down to, or treated like a number. They take the time to explain things clearly and make sure you’re comfortable with what’s being done.
What really matters to me is that they’ve gone out of their way for me more than once, and that says everything about how they run their practice. The staff is just as kind and professional as the dentists themselves, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming.
On top of that, their pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work they do. It’s clear they care about people, not just procedures.

I have been a patient of Dr Overby for about 2 years. He and his hygientists are very thorough. I had been going to a much larger dental practice that always wanted me to have extra procedures done. Dr Overby and his team do a great job without pushing to have extra tests done that are not needed. Last week I suddenly felt a tooth move while eating breakfast. I called Dr Overby's office immediately. The receptionist took my information and consulted Dr Tim. Even though the office was closing early that day Dr Tim worked me in for a consultation. He took an x-ray and showed me what was causing the problem. He referred me to a periodontist for a tooth extraction, and explained several options to me. The office manager immediately sent my x-ray information to the periodontal office, so they had it when I called for an appointment.
Mrs. Toons was the one who treated me and it was great. She was so sweet and kind. I told her I’m scared of dental appointment and she made sure the entire time I’m comfortable and she explained everything to me very clearly. Front desk staff is real sweet too they are cheerful and friendly unlike other places. It’s a great friendly place.
This dental practice is caring and accommodating. From the time you enter the practice until you leave, the entire staff is warm and engaging. Dr. Stephens walked me through today’s procedure, explaining every step along the way. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and compassionate during the entire procedure. He encouraged me to get in contact with him if I have any post procedure concerns. I have only great things to say about this practice and I highly recommend it.
I had a dental emergency on 1/1/24 but due to the holiday no one was opened. I called O'Donnell Dentistry on Old Forest Rd, at 8am on 1/2/24. Wanda gave me an appt for 10:30am that same day. I was seen by Dr David O'Donnell & Joyce where we discussed my options which put my mind at ease. I had not gotten my dentures at this office but by a well known national dental office that I would never return to. They sent my denture out to be fixed & I received a call from Wanda the very next day along with an 11am appt. The denture was fixed & I was able to leave my house once again lol! The professionalism & kindness I was shown from Dr O'Donnell, Joyce & Wanda was beyond heart warming! And the price ( no dental insurance) was extremely reasonable. Dr Tinoosh got me out of pain on my first day at her office in Oct 2025. Her and her team have helped me, my father in law and my mother in law to get out of pain and correct the cause. Dr. Osbourne is the BEST! She actually cares about you as a person and wants you to feel better. She is so knowledgable and I truly feel SO much better after seeing her just a few times. I had a great experience but more importantly I got great results. Dr Jaminet took the time to explain to me what was going on with all the neck pain I was having and I was skeptical at first just because I thought I had tried everything including meds and I was about to just give up. All I can say is I am feeling great. Sleeping well again and I have nothing but great things to say.
Dr. Jaminet is the absolute best chiropractor in town! He is very knowledgeable in what he does. He offers a wide range of products including vitamins and orthotics. He does acupuncture, treating Alpha Gal and many other allergies as well. I highly recommend coming to see him!

I had a great experience at Timberlake Animal Hospital! I came in for an appointment to diagnose our cat's persistent cough. Our regular animal hospital recently closed and we were recommended Timberlake as a locally-owned, trustworthy veterinarian.
The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The vet tech who did our intake was also very nice and helped put my cat at ease. Dr Pearson was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive to his patient. Their prices were very reasonable and they called me promptly the next day with the results from her heart test.
My cat obviously felt comfortable in their office because as soon as the carrier was open she started walking around and checking out the exam room, stopping to admire the snow outside. Even after the winter storm this past weekend, the Timberlake Animal Hospital staff were dedicated and available - they even texted me beforehand to warn of ice at the top of their parking lot.
Overall, I was very pleased with the level of service and the care my pet received. I would recommend Timberlake to anyone looking for a good vet.
Doctor Dixon is the head vet there and she is so helpful. She is the best vet I have ever come across and she actually knows what she is doing. She puts your pets health first and does not try to overvaccinate them. If I would recommend any vet it would be Dr. Dixon at Dimond Hill Animal Hospital!
They’ve done a great job with my cat the 3 times we’ve been, the cut is always well done which can be difficult as other places have left all his hair choppy. She did great blending the fur around where he had a couple mats as well. My cat always comes home looking handsome! We usually go for a modified lions cut.

I've been to this facility a number of times over the past few years... Meditation training with Leo Campbell, a Sound Bath with "Metta Vibrations" and today a Yoga session with Paul Webb. All excellent experiences. It's an older facility that doesn't compare with the newer ones around town. It's a value if you can handle the stairs and squeaky floors.
My wife and I have been taking yoga there for a little more than three years. There are classes scheduled every day for all (different) levels. Great instructors and the students are fun to be around.
Really exceptional certified massage therapy. In town from Los Angeles and needed to continue post-op lymphatic drainage therapy. Had an excellent treatment in a par or better than anything available at home. Prices are reasonable and the treatment rooms are cozy and welcoming. I would be a regular if I lived in Lynchburg. Will for sure book again on my next visit!
Imy was awesome! I love deep tissue and I didn't think she would deliver..... boy was I wrong! I had not slept much the night before and was tight all over...... she did an amazing job working out my kinks and tightness...... it was clean, they were nice and didn't talk a lot while working on you! Loved!
Jean is more than just a great massage therapist -- she has great insight into the emotional underpinnings of what causes discomfort in the body. Without being invasive, she was able to get to the root of some long-standing issues in my body and mind.
