the hairstylist stop in middle of braiding a paying client hair to go to the dollar store before they close. She could have did that on her personal time. SMH the website says they suppose close at 9pm but I didn't leave til 11:30. after 9pm the people that wor there was plying spades, listening to explicit music that had curse words in front of me and my 2 young children(thas under the age 10) that was waiting for my other daughter to finish getting her hair done. they don't have any outlets so you charge your phone or anything. I would give this whole barbershop and salon a 0 out of 10. none of the people working there was nice

I had wrote a bad review due to that experience but the manager reached out to me and made everything alright! She was sincere and listened to me about what had happened and what went wrong. I really appreciate this and she did not have to make it right but she did and that is something to respect! I will continue to come here and stick with the employees I am used to.

When our daughter was two, my husband would bring her to get her toes polished often. Fast forward 13 years; we have moved back to the area and needed a place to get pedicures. Our now 15 year old daughter and I went together and we will not go anywhere else. They remembered her from when she was little. I guess not many toddlers get their nails done. Haha
They are as clean as they were when they first opened almost 17 years ago. The attention to detail was so nice. It was actually a pampering. I have been to places where your feet are throbbing when you leave.

I had one hour deep tissue today with Ashley. I probably was the best massage of my life. Great pressure, worked my tough, stressed shoulders… really pulled all the tension out of me. This is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.

I had a lot of trouble finding a good esthetician in the past, but Darla truly stands out. She is not only talented but also warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. I tried to get an Ilco S1 copied at both Lowes and Home Depot and neither one carries that key blank because they normally only stock the SC1 and the KW1. You can find these numbers printed on the key itself if you don't know what you have. In any case, this store not only had the blank in stock but we were in and out in a hurry and our smith did an incredible job with extremely delicate work. In addition, it was only $6.00 to get this extremely rare key copied!! Go here for your key needs today! It certainly beats a robot.

Alan is more than just a “Bugman.” Alan is a wonderful person with a big heart of gold. It pains me to have moved away from the area. I miss the conversations we had as I strolled alongside him while he was performing his service. He is always 100% honest, genuine and caring towards me and my concerns relating to the pests he was there to treat against. His pricing is more than reasonable, I feel like his price is a steal compared to the value he brings. If anything, I encourage him to charge more - 100% worth it, even at double the price.

Green Akers Pest Control is the best. I noticed evidence of German roaches and called Green Akers as I had used them in the past and was very pleased. Rory came the same day on his way back from out of town. He treated the entire house, even though I only noticed roaches in the kitchen. I also had ants and he treated for those as well. I can't say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend them.
Jennifer is always absolutely outstanding, but this time she went way above and beyond with customer service. We had not been plowed yet so she called me. She served as a go-between to connect me with our new neighbor and offered to walk in through the snow to treat our house. The plow came just in time and all went smoothly but Jennifer handled this situation remarkably - and keeps our house critters free!

These guys were excellent to work with from start to finish. I struggled to find people who worked with Coir matting and these had that expertise. In addition, they seeded for me prior to install. Reece and his crew are INCREDIBLE, truly incredible! We will never use another arborist as long as we live in Lynchburg (Reece, you're never allowed to retire, haha). They took down a monster of a tree with several branches over our house...and left it unscathed! Such remarkable skill and acumen! Not only did they do the tree cutting with care, they left our yard looking squeeky clean and the wood in a beautifully organized pile. I'd leave 10 stars if I could! Thanks again!

I hired Sharptop Tree Service to trim a large River Birch tree on my property after they did a terrific job trimming my Crepe Myrtle. I wasn't sure how best the River Birch should be trimmed, so I just asked them to trim it they would do it if it was their tree. They did a great job! The tree has never looked better! They were friendly, professional, they cleaned up ALL debris, and their prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be calling them first the next time I need tree work done! Thank you!

My regular hygienist was away and covering hygienist took care of my case with routine steps . She did very good job accept not able to schedule my follow up next schedule and another on the road for coming 12 months. I guess this was not in her list to complete the visit as usual or may be there is new system for future appointments!
Dr. Sorenson is an awesome dentist. He checks all of the boxes, so to speak. You want a dentist with knowledge and experience but not expensive. Maybe just as important you want someone who is friendly, who you know won't hurt you. Dr. Sorenson also only hires staff who are excellent too. I know I'm safe in their office. Thank you.

Ive been in and out of here getting all sorts of work done like root scrubs and fillings and I have to say, this beats any dentist ive visited in the past by a long shot. Everyone has such a steady and gentle hand, their tools and techniques eliminate any and all potentials for pain and they come in with smiles happy to work on you. Its also the fastest ive ever been in and out of a dental clinic. They work so quickly to make sure you can have the rest of your day available. Dr. Stephens walked me through today’s procedure, explaining every step along the way. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and compassionate during the entire procedure. He encouraged me to get in contact with him if I have any post procedure concerns. I have only great things to say about this practice and I highly recommend it.
I had a dental emergency on 1/1/24 but due to the holiday no one was opened. I called O'Donnell Dentistry on Old Forest Rd, at 8am on 1/2/24. Wanda gave me an appt for 10:30am that same day. I was seen by Dr David O'Donnell & Joyce where we discussed my options which put my mind at ease. I had not gotten my dentures at this office but by a well known national dental office that I would never return to. They sent my denture out to be fixed & I received a call from Wanda the very next day along with an 11am appt. The denture was fixed & I was able to leave my house once again lol! The professionalism & kindness I was shown from Dr O'Donnell, Joyce & Wanda was beyond heart warming! And the price ( no dental insurance) was extremely reasonable. 10/10. I have had such a struggle finding a good dentist in the Lynchburg area. I’m so happy I called Riley Dental Associates! The reception desk here was so kind and helpful, the staff was SO nice, accommodating and professional, and my exam and cleaning were so thorough and painless. The dentist took her time and went through things with me and really made sure I felt seen and taken care of which is rare! Just wow. So impressed and will be coming here as long as they stay open!

Dr Tinoosh got me out of pain on my first day at her office in Oct 2025. Her and her team have helped me, my father in law and my mother in law to get out of pain and correct the cause. She stays up to date with the current therapies to relieve pain and promote healthy living. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Everyone is very friendly and professional. The spine adjustments are really helping my herniated back. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Osbourne is the BEST! She actually cares about you as a person and wants you to feel better. She is so knowledgable and I truly feel SO much better after seeing her just a few times. She is also just so kind and spends adequate time listening to you and where the pain is so she can understand how to help. I will recommend her to everyone in Lynchburg!

I had a great experience but more importantly I got great results. Dr Jaminet took the time to explain to me what was going on with all the neck pain I was having and I was skeptical at first just because I thought I had tried everything including meds and I was about to just give up. All I can say is I am feeling great. Sleeping well again and I have nothing but great things to say.
Dr. Jaminet is the absolute best chiropractor in town! He is very knowledgeable in what he does. He offers a wide range of products including vitamins and orthotics. He does acupuncture, treating Alpha Gal and many other allergies as well. I highly recommend coming to see him!

I had a great experience at Timberlake Animal Hospital! I came in for an appointment to diagnose our cat's persistent cough. Our regular animal hospital recently closed and we were recommended Timberlake as a locally-owned, trustworthy veterinarian.
The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The vet tech who did our intake was also very nice and helped put my cat at ease. Dr Pearson was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive to his patient. Their prices were very reasonable and they called me promptly the next day with the results from her heart test.
My cat obviously felt comfortable in their office because as soon as the carrier was open she started walking around and checking out the exam room, stopping to admire the snow outside. Even after the winter storm this past weekend, the Timberlake Animal Hospital staff were dedicated and available - they even texted me beforehand to warn of ice at the top of their parking lot.
Overall, I was very pleased with the level of service and the care my pet received. I would recommend Timberlake to anyone looking for a good vet.
Doctor Dixon is the head vet there and she is so helpful. She is the best vet I have ever come across and she actually knows what she is doing. She puts your pets health first and does not try to overvaccinate them. If I would recommend any vet it would be Dr. Dixon at Dimond Hill Animal Hospital!

I've been to this facility a number of times over the past few years... Meditation training with Leo Campbell, a Sound Bath with "Metta Vibrations" and today a Yoga session with Paul Webb. All excellent experiences. It's an older facility that doesn't compare with the newer ones around town. It's a value if you can handle the stairs and squeaky floors.
My wife and I have been taking yoga there for a little more than three years. There are classes scheduled every day for all (different) levels. Great instructors and the students are fun to be around.

Victoria is an excellent massage therapist. I love the ambiance, and her skills are consistently high-quality. She always asks about my needs on that day, and then focuses her work on those problem areas, while still delivering a relaxing overall experience.
Imy was awesome! I love deep tissue and I didn't think she would deliver..... boy was I wrong! I had not slept much the night before and was tight all over...... she did an amazing job working out my kinks and tightness...... it was clean, they were nice and didn't talk a lot while working on you! Loved!
Jean is more than just a great massage therapist -- she has great insight into the emotional underpinnings of what causes discomfort in the body. Without being invasive, she was able to get to the root of some long-standing issues in my body and mind.

I have been visiting this spa for a couple of months having recently moved to the area. Linda is a wonderful masseuse who really ranks with the best of the best I have experienced. Not only that, she is a lovely lady who is always happy and smiling and makes you feel right at home. The facility is always clean and tidy and the price is good!
Absolutely hands down the best Massage Envy ever (and I’ve been to a lot as I travel for my job). Front desk staff are awesome and Sofie and Teah are fabulous. Come here for a massage or facial - you ok love it!!

Mr. Sale is AMAZING!!!! He keeps you engaged the entire time and even though it’s 8 hours his method of teaching makes it very fun and makes the time fly by. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to take this class or even if you voluntarily want to take it please go here it’s absolutely AMAZING! I’d take this class with Mr. Sale every month if I had to, that’s how great he is!!!!!!!!
