I was told by another tech (from L&S Mechanical) that I needed several hundred dollars of Freon for one of my almost-new ACs. I was suspicious so I called Alamo Austin Air - and couldn't be happier. They scheduled the visit for the next day, communicated twice in just a few hours before arriving, arrived on time, and then diagnosed the problem as new batteries needed in the thermostat (which they didn't charge me for). In under an hour, they fixed the problem, performed a cleaning service that I asked for, and were on their way. So happy I called these guys for a second opinion and didn't get "taken" by the other guys. Needless to say - I'll be using Alamo Air in the future! Highly recommend.“
