“Drs. Martínez offer wonderful care. Mason is a thoughtful and expert practitioner who in addition to acupuncture, is well versed in Chinese medicine and the intersectionality between gut health and overall wellbeing. She personalizes her approach in a way that addresses the underlined causes to reach optimal results. Michael provides an excellent combination of chiropractic care and rehab practices that not only address the issue at hand in that moment, but give you practical and sustainable ways to continue the healing process between sessions and beyond. They are both a pleasure to know and I leave their practice feeling genuinely cared for and supported every time. They earned my trust so well, that I even introduced my daughter to them, whom I know they are also caring for in excellent t ways.We are grateful for this fabulous duo and highly recommend them!“

“Went for Emmanuel Gillespie's solo exhibit, which was awesome. As it relates to the gallery itself, the spatial layout was great! Gallery located on two levels with space maximized to present exhibits in the most effective manner. Well worth the trip!!Gallery also focused in The Best of D Magazine's 2023 Summer Edition.“

“Attended two classes here. Beginner yoga and Yin plus sound bath. Both classes had good instructors. I found the sound bath class with music bowls to be very relaxing and a good way to end a long day.“

“I did a Zoom stretch session with Nicole and it was amazing! My body needed it more then I realized, and she made me feel so empowered to do more. I personally forget how important deep stretching is to our daily tasks and this session was the reminder I needed. Nicole always has a smile on her face and amazing energy! 10 out of 10 would recommend to all levels and ages. #TAKETHECLASS“

“As a chronic pain patient with rheumatoid arthritis, I was hesitant to start a new bodywork therapy that might not work. I could not have been more wrong! Nic is amazing and tailors every detail of our time together to fit my aches and pains. She truly is amazing as a massage therapist! The only downside is the random noise at her location in the building.“

“I do not much about dance studios, but a friend of mine taught a Nia class here the other night so I paid the $11 or so dollars on line when I signed up for the class. It seems most classes have a virtual option too.Met the owner when I arrived. She was really nice and showed me around. There are several studios and lockers for your belongings. The studio we were in for the class was really chill. Not what I expected. The lighting was dim with blue and yellow tones. I didn't feel as nervous after entering the room and not feeling fully on display. The Nia class was 30 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will most likely look at the calendar and pick some other classes here and there. I notice they do Pilates, yoga and things like that too. Lots of options!“

“I have been going to see Macey at Blue Feather for almost 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE IT! I love Macey's classes - the vibes are always on point, she is always trying to bring something new to her classes to make them fun and exciting, and she does a great job trying to make sure the newest person in the room feels at ease and has a good time. I have definitely gotten more in touch with myself and my feminine side working with her, and I recommend her to everyone who will listen! I wish she had more classes throughout the week! If she did, I promise I would be at every single one. If you're new to aerial, or just wanting to try something different, I HIGHLY recommend taking one of her classes. You won't be disappointed.“

“Really impressed with this yoga studio. I've been practicing for about 10 years now, and their teachers are all super passionate and knowledgeable. Their management is especially great and helpful whenever I have a question. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend that you take the Yoga 101 or Hot classes.“

“I have been taking yoga classes from the BKS Iyengar Yoga Studio of Dallas since 2018. I think this is the best style of yoga practice for human beings' body, mind and soul. Well, it might take an average human being a while to discover that. But the journey of hard work is so worth it!The teachers, oh yes, they are the most dedicated and excellent teachers that I know of. They are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable of the correct yoga postures. They know how to adapt their teachings to the level of the students. They also know how to push you further if you are willing to go that extra miles.I just love the yoga classes and practice here in the studio, which make my yoga journey much easier and enjoyable!Thank you all, especially Randy, Skyler, and David!“

“I attended a vision board workshop led by Destiny W. recently, and it was amazing! The workshop consisted of a yoga series/flow, an opportunity to create a personal vision board, and then yoga nidra to complete the workshop. I will address each portion.Attendance: The workshop was well attended, but there was still space so I did not feel like I was too close to another person. I did not know other participants, but had met the woman leading the workshop (Destiny W). I felt welcomed into the space (so it was not weird if you showed up without a group of friends).Vision Board Workshop: I have never done a vision board before, and I am not a person who normally shares alot, so this was out of my comfort zone. I figured I would try it as a "new year, new focus situation." I am also not very creative/artsy. There was no pressure to share, but people could if they wanted. There were more than enough supplies (and there were cool supplies, too), so there was more than enough for the exceptionally creative and those who needed assistance in sorting their thoughts. Destiny (she led the workshop) walked around and chatted with each person but the conversations were not loud or intrusive so people could be present in the space and also focus on their own thoughts.Yoga Portion of the Workshop: I have practiced yoga before, and even at the old Samatone location (before it was purchased and relocated). I have not practiced in a session led by Destiny W. so that was new. I have also not practiced yoga in a couple of years (life got in the way), so I was not particularly flexible coming into this session.Destiny is a very thorough and calming presence in the studio. Some teachers talk too much, but she does not. There was enough direction to follow coherently, and the way that Destiny described yoga poses/steps made sense to me. It was not all explained in yoga words (some of which I do not know/understand), and there was time to actually do the pose (some teachers move quickly and I feel like I am sprinting to get from a down dog to a warrior). It was very obvious that she had given thought to which poses we were going to do, and in what order. This was not slapped together, and I appreciated that flow.Because this was a workshop, we completed certain yoga series/poses and then took a moment to respond to guided questions to help create our vision boards. There was enough time to do the pose, stop, and then write down a couple of words to help us when we got to the vision board portion. If we would not have done this part, I am not sure I would have been able to put a thought together coherently. The yoga definitely centered my thoughts to what I was supposed to be doing. The music was good. It was more animated during the vision board portion (which was good), and the background sound/music during yoga was neither too loud nor overpowering. I was still able to hear what was going on and also not hear the "extra" sounds of other people in the room.Yoga Nidra: Um, wow. I love yoga nidra. If you have not experienced this type of yoga, you are missing out. I think we might have done 5-10 minutes of yoga nidra at the end, but I also am unsure because I checked out for at least half of it. It was a very nice way to end the workshop.Studio space: The studio is very clean, bright/welcoming, and organized. It was easy to check in, sign the waiver, and find a space in the studio for my mat. There are more than enough cubbies/storage for bags, shoes, etc., and the facilities (bathrooms) are clean. The studio smells nice, or does not smell like a bunch of people sweat regularly in there or like feet. In between the workshop and the next class, the owner and Destiny were cleaning and making sure the room was ready for the next group. The studio owner (Rhonda, I think) was there and very nice/welcoming. Some studios have a clique vibe, but this place does not. There was a bit of everyone in this studio, so it is an inclusive place. That is nice.I would return for regular yoga, or for more workshops.“

“Deeply impactful Yoga Teacher Training. Understanding the science of the brain and self regulation and how that intersects with traditional Yoga has been huge. Not only did we learn these things, but we were able to embrace tools to teach others effectively as well. Highly recommend.“
