I went to Airrosti recently after injuring my knee while on vacation. Initially, I went to a chiropractor, but a week later the swelling & pain had gotten so bad I had to use the elevator at work & could hardly go up or down the stairs at home, so they suggested I go to an orthopedist and get an MRI.
I called to book an appt. with an orthopedist, but the woman I spoke to was extremely rude, so I decided to search online for other options.
That's when I came across Airrosti & remembered a friend highly recommending them after several great experiences she & her sons had, as well as helping her dad avoid surgery.
I called & spoke to Tyler who was professional, friendly & helpful. He listened as I explained my injury, & told me that from what I described, he was fairly sure they could have me back to normal in 2-4 visits. He checked my insurance within seconds while I was on the phone to let me know how much each of my visits would cost, & he was able to get me an appt with Dr. Jared Sporrer a few hours later that same day.
When I arrived for my appt, Dr. Sporrer apologized for being late. I need to point out, he had just finished with another patient, & I was waking into the room 3 minutes past my appt time... most doctors don't acknowledge when they are 30+ minutes late, so I think I actually laughed out loud when he apologized over 3 minutes!
I was also impressed that he took the time to read the online form I filled out about my injury, asked some follow up questions, listened to me & had me show him how far I could pull my knee towards my chest before he started working on it.
After 5-10 minutes of him working on the swelling, he asked me to see if there was any change in how far I could pull my knee to my chest. I thought he was joking... was he really expecting a difference in 5-10 minutes? Imagine my surprise when there was a very noticeable improvement! Then, he had me walk around a little... again, a noticeable improvement after just 5-10 minutes. He told me that if I wanted an MRI, he would schedule one, but he didn't think it was necessary based on what he was seeing, so I decided to hold off on the MRI. I figured I could get it later, if needed.
Next, he introduced me to Eleanor who was delightful & showed me some simple things to do at home to help my recovery until my next visit a week later. She also sent an email after the appt with videos of the various exercises, so I was able to refer to those later that evening when I had a question about the positioning of my foot for one of the moves.
I'm happy to report that a week later, my knee is completely better... no MRI needed, no orthopedist needed, & my 2nd appt. was not even needed, so we cancelled it! I am beyond impressed with every aspect of the care & treatment I received. I truly can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Dr. Sporrer, Eleanor & Tyler for exceeding my expectations!
