“Tiered steps with landingThis is the second time I’ve used Avanti Landscaping, and I highly recommend them. First, their responsiveness is excellent. I reached out to them on a Thursday evening and Eduard was here taking measurements the following Monday evening.The job we had them do needed expertise. We have a walkout basement. The existing steps from the "main floor grade" to "basement level grade" needed to be ripped out, and we needed new steps put in. It is quite a steep slope with very little room for error. Also, there was very little room for machinery. Most of the (backbreaking) work needed to be done by hand.The result - 100% top quality workmanship with extremely professional, extremely solid steps and accompanying landing. The crew worked very hard while they were here. They showed up on time and put in a full day each day. Once they were finished, the job site was left very clean. Overall, we could not be happier. Highly recommend !!“

“Ladi and his crew put in 2 interlock walkways (~175 and ~100sq.ft?), and for our asphalt driveway he had a separate paver team rip up/ completely repave it. Driveway base appeared to be a substantial bed of the correct crush run/gravel, topping that with a good layer of asphalt that they rolled well (very smooth, edges are nice and no crumbly poorly compacted spots). Regraded some areas to allow good drainage. After a year, no signs of shoddy work but of course we cant really know til several years go by. Interlock looks great and is also nicely graded to prevent pooling. Meets up perfectly with adjoining asphalt. Good thick base of crush stone and some special granite screening (i requested extra thick base to allow parking). No stones heaving or falling away after a year. Lots of stones needed cutting , curvy edges were done expertly. The polymeric sand was vibrated in nicely with their compactor machine - on one walkway. Whoever did the 2nd walkway didnt finish compacting and left some spots without enough sand. Had to get that corrected. Also one of the workers was careless and damaged a cable (Id even warned the boss). LG repaired it. If u have things above or below grade that must be protected (in addition to the locates etc) Id suggest marking them well as a reminder. But overall a great job done for much cheaper than our other quotes. Our requests were listened to. Ladi is pretty easy to talk to, offers useful suggestions, did the work when he said they would, crew cleaned up the site well. Would certainly call him again for our next job.“

“During covid since my wife and I knew our time would be spent at home, we decided to renovate our home, a project we have been talking about for a few years. Our goal was to upgrade our house with the intent to stay the next 10-15 years but also have it ready for sale if need be. We wanted to open up the entire main floor which required 3 load bearing walls be removed so this was something that was scary. Finding a contractor suitable to undertake this project was tough we got several quotes but were not pleased with their confidence. We happened to see Better view sign in our neighborhood and we contacted Jeffrey who came over and we gave him an overview of the project. Right away he first told us to come see the house that he was working on which we did and we got to see his workmanship. He was also very confident in explaining the scope of the project. Within a week he put together a very detailed proposal and we liked his professionalism and level of detail. We signed the contract. Jeffrey’s Engineer, and his team of contractors I will say are unmatched. The project started on-time, he dedicated a team to my home for the duration of the project which was 6 months, and they started and ended work each day on-time. They took care of all our personal belongings by shrink wrapping all windows and furniture. They cleaned up after every day and worked very neatly. It was so amazing to see how they took down our walls, supported our house with temporary supports and how they installed the beams and vertical support members. Jeffery made it a point to drop by each day to see the progress and inquire whether there were any problems and if there were, he solved them for us. Better view did an amazing job by giving us the dream home we always wanted. We loved the work done on the main and upper floor that the following year, I had Betterview finish my basement. All our friends and family love the look of our home and cannot believe the transformation. I would highly recommend this company for your home renovation project needs as they can manage everything from start to finish so you are dealing with one contractor, this makes it so simple. He has showrooms available to select your materials, but you can buy your own and pay him for labour. If I do move house, I will definitely call Jeffrey if any upgrades or major renovations are needed.“
