“We had a great experience with Smart Renovations from start to finish. We renovated our main floor, including the kitchen, dining area, powder room, and staircase. The project involved new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, flooring, baseboards and casings, painting (including popcorn ceiling removal), as well as completely updating the stairs, railings, and pickets.<br><br>What stood out to us most was how organized and professional the entire process was.<br><br>Tina and her team were all very accommodating and easy to deal with throughout the renovation. They provided clear timelines and deadlines, so we always had a good understanding of what was happening and when. The pricing was also very detailed and upfront, which made it much easier to plan and avoid surprises along the way.<br><br>One thing I really appreciated was how consistent the work was. There were no long breaks or gaps in the renovation. The team was pretty much there every day, all day, from start to finish, which kept everything moving and helped us stay on schedule.<br><br>I also really liked that Smart Renovations has a full team of professionals with specific roles throughout the project. From design and project management to cabinetry, stairs, flooring, and the other trades involved, everything was coordinated through one company. Having people who specialize in each part of the renovation made a big difference.<br><br>The showroom was another big plus. Being able to see and compare the actual materials, finishes, colours, and options in person made the decision-making process much easier than trying to choose everything from pictures or samples.<br><br>For us, time was a big factor. With kids and everything that comes with a busy family, having a renovation drag on for months or constantly having to coordinate different contractors wasn’t something we wanted. We were willing to spend a little more to have the process be detailed, planned, and precise rather than simply choosing the cheapest option. In our experience, the organization and consistency were worth it.<br><br>The whole project was expected to take 4-5 weeks and they completed in 3.5 weeks which I found extremely impressive.<br><br>Overall, we found the entire team professional, responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. Renovations can obviously be stressful, but having a company that keeps things organized, communicates clearly, sticks to the schedule, and has everything coordinated under one roof made the experience much easier.<br><br>We’re very happy with how everything turned out and the overall quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Smart Renovations to anyone considering a renovation, especially if you value your time and want a well-planned, organized process.”
