Gerhard was very helpful with planning, and helping us understand what would work well. He was always willing to give input on the materials we were considering to ensure they would fit and be best for the job.
Nicolai did an amazing job on the work! We were trying to get the job finished before our kids came home for the holiday break and he delivered! The bathroom looks so fantastic and the workmanship was excellent.
If we have another renovation in the future we will be calling the Home Improvement People again!“

“This was our second renovation with Lampert. This time we did a full condo kitchen remodel.
Alex was great at guiding us with picking finishes to achieve the look we wanted, something I definitely need help with, he had great ideas and was so helpful with maximizing storage. The work was started and completed on time and on budget. The workers were respectful and clean which we really appreciated. They worked well within the rules of our condo Corp as well.

“We needed our old uneven concrete basement floor dug out, levelled, waterproofed and new concrete poured. We had two on-site visits in order for the company to confirm that they could access the site properly before they provided a quote - this was a reassuring step. Once work started, communication with Ajord was excellent - he was site foreman for a few jobs so periodically popped in and out, but was always available on phone/text/email. Roman was the "concrete guy" and he is the first trades person I've worked with who took the time on day one to properly introduce himself and walk me through all of the steps of the job so that I knew what to expect - this made a massive difference to how comfortable I felt and the trust I had in his work. All of the labourers worked quickly, cleanly and professionally. I was worried about their need to use our basement window for all removal of materials, however it was protected well and no damage was done. We had an issue that some of the old concrete had not been entirely removed where it met the wall (which would have protruded out above the new floor), but once pointed out, Ajord had a team member return to fix the issue. We experienced some delays with the concrete supply, but this appears to be a provincial/national(?) issue ongoing due to the pandemic. In the end the job only took 3 days on-site - but 2 weeks total because of the delay. Again, communication was good regarding the delay. I would recommend this company“

“Tony and his team were very professionals, clean job, very friendly and they went beyond. My fence is looking new again with the new posts. They took the time to do the job that Tony promised me. They took only 1 and 1/2 days (others were quoting me 2-3 days). If I need another project, I know I’ll be calling Tony again.“

Our house is top notch, flawless kitchen installation, lovely crown mouldings, etc.More recently we had a plumbing issue and John’s outfit recommended Wes from Wes Plumbing. He was also super - telling us that he will stay as long as he needs to get the job done well and so it doesn’t need to be corrected again. I recommend Ascot 100%.“
