Heating & Air Conditioning / HVAC near Elmira

“Our family lives in Elmira and I called CJ’s this morning @ 7:30am as soon as they opened as our air conditioner conked out last night right before bed…..of course on the eve of the hottest day so far this summer 🙄. With a wife and 2 small children at home….and so many trades being so swamped right now…I was hoping against the odds that they would be able to come by and service our AC unit. The gentleman I spoke with in the morning (I didn’t get his name but he was very nice) stated what I already knew - they were very busy - but he assured me he would put me in the queue and get a technician out today, while also being upfront and honest and informing me that if the unit needed parts that they didn’t stock it might not be repaired today. Figuring with how busy they were that I wasn’t going to receive a call until mid-to-late afternoon…..and even then that it would likely be a diagnostic with the results of needing to order parts and come back for a second trip once the parts arrived…..to my surprise I received a call from their technician Luke at 9:45am stating that he would be at our house within 15 minutes!! I was at work but was able to come home to meet him and explain the situation. Luke was super nice, very helpful, and extremely professional. He ran a few diagnostics and found the problem within 10 minutes….then came the ultimate question…..how long to order the part? Luke looked at me, looked at his truck parked in our driveway, smiled, and said “about 15 steps to my truck”…….complete relief! Luke had our AC unit up and running again within an hour!! The cost was extremely reasonable as well (have to mention that!).

Myself and my family are so beyond grateful for CJ’s and their technician Luke - thank you so much for accommodating us today as we know how busy you are….you really made a huge difference in our lives during this hot time of year.

If anyone is considering CJ’s for any work - there is no consideration required. This company is polite, professional, accommodating, and absolutely fantastic to deal with. We will be returning customers.

“Jamie and Shawn who did our installation of our furnace and heat pump were amazing. Quick and efficient. Stopped to answer and questions and made sure I understood the thermostat before they left. They cleaned up any messes they left.
Jaun the sales sales guy was also very good. He gave us all the options of brands they deal with, let us know the pros and cons of them all. Explained the difference between an AC and a heat pump. Gave us all the info we needed to decide what we wanted to go with. With no pressure at all.

“Called Steadfast after 5 other gas companies didn't even return my call (?!). We just wanted to have a gas line run for our BBQ at our new home. We were on a tight timeline because our basement was in the process of being finished and the ceiling was going up in a few days (making the gas work more complicated if not done first).
