“A solid company. I had so many issues with my less than 6 month newly installed HVAC system from custom comfort, who refused to come out and fix their mistakes. I had Mark, the technician, come out and talk with me about what needed to be remedied in order for my system to work correctly. The static pressure was too high, meaning the amount of supply was too high compared to the amount of return. It was almost double. After some diagnostic testing, he determined how big the return vents needed to be to correlate with the amount of cfm's, and he also determined that there needed to be dampers on each supply run since there weren't any to begin with. The guys came out and installed the appropriately sized vents, ductwork, and installed dampers and a heat run in my kitchen. My system is now working properly, evenly heating my house, and my gas bills are almost in half. They tested my system to ensure everything was working properly and took pictures of diagnostics and their work, so I had it on record as well, which came to be important in my case against custom comfort in Stow municipal small claims court. Needless to say, Sal's is awesome, the technicians and management were great throughout my experience. Will definitely recommend Sal's for any HVAC related issue that needs fixing. and HVAC needs because he is, quite simply, the best——-every technician knows what he is doing, and the problem is solved the first time out. What makes Steve so valuable is his personal service. Steve has given me his cell number, so I can reach him when the office is closed.

We had no hot water last weekend——I felt comfortable calling Steve at 7:30 Monday morning—-hot water was restored within hours! After I thanked Steve profusely, he said what he always tells me: I don’t just give this “emergency service “ for friends—-I do it for everyone (even first time callers!)”———-The man obviously has a lot of empathy .

One other recent experience——our power went out for several hours. When it returned, our thermostat needed resetting. Being 79 and “hopelessly unmechanical”, I called the office to have someone “talk me through” resetting it. Kenny did one better—-he dropped what he was doing , and 20 minutes later, he appeared in person to show me how to reset the thermostat for the next time we lose power. He absolutely refused to send me a bill for his time and effort——-what other service company does that?——none that I have ever experienced.

My point: when you have an issue, Smylie One comes out immediately and repairs the problem——even for first time callers!
That says it all.
