“If I could give a million star rating I would. Dr. East saw our boy Todd first last week for what we hoped would be a routine check up, upon exam she immediately noted a large abdominal mass and recommended gold standard veterinary care and referrals. She handled our boy with kindness and compassion as well as discussing all of our options thoroughly and answering all of our questions. Yesterday we saw Dr. Ratcliff who also treated our sweet boy with the same dignity, respect, and high quality veterinary care. Completing the first steps of testing for his cancer diagnosis, and carefully selecting the medications he needed to be comfortable. She called us immediately upon receiving test results which unfortunately resulted in Todd’s final veterinary visit at the ER after hours. We were told where to go, what may happen, and Todd’s records were immediately sent out. This vet clinic is efficient, compassionate, and how every vet clinic should be modeled after from the technician’s fear-free approach, the doctor’s high quality of medicine, and the office staff’s efficiency. The office is clean and well thought out to be “fear free certified” which is just another sign of how important your animal’s experience is to this hospital’s staff. Because of this clinic, Todd did not suffer or feel any pain in his final days, and we are forever thankful for that. People like this vet hospital make the world a better place. Thank you.“

We started coming here towards the end of our French bulldog’s life, but they definitely saved him more than once and provided medication and guidance on specialists to improve the quality of his remaining days as well. When he passed away (peacefully at home), we had him cremated with them and they provided us with the cutest little paw print keepsake. I saw our vet (Dr. V) on the streets weeks after his passing and she recognized me right away and hugged me for what seemed like forever while I sobbed over our loss.Dr. V and the entire team at Greenpoint Vets are top notch. From the minute you walk in, you can see the care they have for the family members that they are attending to. Compassion is what a lot of other vets lack. They treated my loved one as a family member. One staff member even cried with us. Foxy was a special one because she overcame many of life's obstacles before her time was called. “Dr. Lowenstein is a patron saint of the animal world. When our cat became ill I discovered him online and immediately made an appointment. He is the MOST responsive, kind and knowledgable vet I have ever known. He came to our apartment several times. He was extremely kind to our 18 year old cat Stuart who became violently ill when he even saw a carrier. He made his last weeks so gentle and bearable. Dr. Lowenstein is amazingly responsive, answering my calls, texts and emails within minutes or hours. His kindness and attentiveness extended to the most excruciatingly difficult moments at the end of our cat's life which happened at home, in a place on our couch that Stuart loved. Dr. Lowenstein made this very difficult moment almost bearable. A million thanks to this amazingly humane and gifted medical genius.“
“It is VERY hard to get an appointment unless you call right when they open at 8am. We were able to & after a scheduled check up & blood work done, had a dental surgery set for my Chihuahua. They did a great job & Dr Relman personally called & kept us up to date with the procedure before & after as well as the after care. Staff was very friendly as well.“

The staff was kind and professional with an amazing bedside manner.We came back a week ago because this same pup was not doing well, and we knew we might have to make that tough decision. The same vet tech (?) was there, and she remembered our girl. She was so kind before the doc came in.The doc and vet tech both examined her, and we had an honest discussion about what was best for our dog. We ended up putting her to sleep and appreciate the kind and supportive nature of all the staff.We chose to be with our dog as it all happened. Additionally, we cremated our dog and had her remains sent to us. The packaging was beautiful along with a paw print plaster-cast.“
“This doctor is one of the most knowledgeable ones I’ve ever seen. I take my pup here, they don’t over prescribe medication and are usually spot on with diagnosis. I recommended this place to my friend and the doctor gave the diagnosis of a torn ccl with a simple test on the spot. The other places he visited charged him hundreds in lab tests and fees.
