The Doctors were professional and very pleasant to discuss my dogs treatment. Office is very clean and smells wonderful! Dr. VERGHESE was so wonderful and understood my worries.

They were both deeply kind and courteous. They thoroughly examined and explained the existing documentation + considered all the possibilities given my boy’s medical history. Best yet, they explained the reasoning behind treatment decisions both past and present. I found this last bit very reassuring (in spite of my chronic worries as a pet parent). If you’re in doubt, don’t be!! This is definitely the place.“

988b Morris Park Ave, Bronx“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!“

I am very thankful for all who work there.“

248 W 26th St, New York“My sweet cat was not feeling well, and I just moved so I didn't know where to get really loving and supportive kitty care. I was also unable to take him in myself. My partner brought him in, and he was seen by Dr. Canales. I was on speakerphone as she discussed options, pricing, and follow up. Even though I couldn't be there, I felt so comforted and grateful that we chose this veterinary office. I am so pleased with her attention to detail, how kind and informative she is, and I'm grateful to have found the right place for both of my boys. I hope never to have an emergency situation again. I do look forward to continuing with follow up and preventative medical care.
Thank you so much, Dr. Canales. You are a gem.“

I am very grateful for Dr. Nieto and home heart vets for providing their services directly to our home. They even reached out afterwards to share their condolences which meant a lot to us. Thank you again“

241 Eldridge St, New York“I sought Dr. Chu to be the central member of my 9.5-year-old Corgi's care team to help me navigate and coordinate his complicated needs. Dr. Chu did not disappoint. She provided a routine/annual exam and then addressed my concerns (excessive scratching and lameness following TPLO surgery). Dr. Chu was patient, attentive, and gentle in her handling of my pup. She prioritized services to avoid stressing an already weary pup. Although I came in thinking I needed X-rays, she reminded me that they were taken recently and that another wouldn't be necessary. A couple of days later Dr. Chu called to check up on my boy and also shared that she took the extra step of consulting a radiologist regarding the X-rays. It is a relief to find a veterinarian who provides such clear medical updates and truly understands the concerns of a pet owner.
Thank you for the excellent care and for making us feel so welcome.“

66 Westchester Square, Bronx“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.
Thanks Carlos, Rebecca, Dr. Bassman & Adrianna!“

She is also a very good educator and I think all pet parents would benefit from all her helpful advice and care. The staff, as usual, were kind and friendly. I was quite pleased with the appointment. The experience made me want to come back and have Dr Ball keep taking care of Mochi to provide the best quality of life for the cat. Thank you!“

After 16 years of an amazing life, we had to put our dog down. PSVC made us (including our two kids) feel so comfortable, didn’t rush us, and the vet and techs really were just the kindest, sweetest people. We’re eternally grateful to them. Thanks so much for honoring Smokey’s life with us. ?“
