Wow, I am just so grateful for Stefanazzi and Spargo. 27 years ago, when my Dad passed they made a beautiful gravestone for him. Sadly, my mom passed away January of 2024. Imagine my surprise when the very same wonderful person who helped me plan my Dad’s marker was still there and able to match mom’s to my dad’s!! I can’t thank you enough, Rayanne! Salon Harmony West is located on N. Mohawk St. in the he updated Harmony Mill area of Cohoes. As you walk up the stairs you'll notice the seasonal garden flanked by flowers. When you walk into the Salon the atmosphere is welcoming and there is always a smile to greet you. I love my hair stylist Alison Lyons and Salon Harmony West.

The owner of this establishment is one of the most positive and courteous people I have ever met. The prices are fair and the barbers make great conversation. First time at Shelly's cut and style. She listened while I explained what I wanted, made suggestions (which I accepted), and did a good job.
Pro's:
10 minute walk from my apartment. In my first visit, it took only an hour for a haircut from leaving my house to returning home. To be fair, I was the only customer in the salon at the time.
Good listener. Does what you ask, while trying to improve upon what you want.
The price is reasonable, a few dollars more than Supercuts at $28.
Cons:
She's the ONLY stylist, which means every time the phone rings, she has to stop cutting your hair to answer it. I imagine this also affects waiting time quite a bit if she's running behind, but we'll see.
Doesn't take credit cards, which I was shocked. Thankfully, I had enough cash on me, but I don't know what I would have done if I didn't.
Overall, I am satisfied enough to go back, despite the inconvenience of always making sure I have cash on me (I rely heavily on my debit card and usually have very little money on me). And while my time might sometimes be affected by Shelly being the only stylist, I imagine it still has to be less time than the 3 hours roundtrip by bus it takes me to get to Supercuts in Latham and back. Lastly, my haircut was good enough to warrant a repeat visit, and I'm happy to stay local, if I can.
Requested style: I asked for a short layer cut, but the way I described it, she said it would actually be a man's cut. She added some feminine touches like leaving the "sideburns" longer than I normally would like, and tapering the back (I asked for a round/oval shape for the bottom, because I don't like "wispy", and she complied).
When I arrived on February 5th, I was totally hopeless. I had serious doubts that I could ever live a clean and productive life again, and I had doubts that they could offer anything other than any of the other facilities. But I was wrong. My experience there was unlike any other. I was always treated with dignity and respect. And the staff would go out of their way to assure I was learning and obtaining as much knowledge and information possible about my disease.
The owner Steve is the nicest guy. His estimate he gave me a great price and got the job done. I would use them again.
Dan Riley is an excellent electrician. He answers phone calls promptly, shows up in a timely fashion, and has reasonable rates. He has done jobs as various as burying an outside line, replacing smoke detectors, fixing a bathroom gfci, and installing a new electrical line. I would definitely recommend.
ADG has a top-notch product selection that is only superseded buy their amazing staff!
John and his crew did such a great job rebuilding our back deck. They were professional and knowledgeable. The job was also completed in a timely fashion. If we need anymore work done in the future, John will be the first to call.
Great experience! I am very pleased that I found this office. Very nice, comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Like many, I'm very scared of going to the dentist, after sadly having many unfortunate experiences. Today was my first time getting work in a very long time and I am so shocked at how smoothly and phenomenal it went! The hygenist was so nice, thorough, gentle, and informative. Then I went over to see Dr. Mitola for a filling. I thought it was going to be very painful and a long process, it was quick, most importantly pain free, everything was pain free. Dr Mitola really made me feel comfortable and answered every question i had and was happy to explain everything. Very gentle and caring also. I highly recommend this office. From the moment I walk in the door, to the moment I left, it has been a great experience and i'm so happy I finally found a great place! It's honestly such a relief! Thank you to everyone!
This shop went above and beyond, highly recommend! The team made the process as smooth as possible and made an unfortunate accident with a deer sting just a little bit less. Jose provided consistent, clear communication, and the text updates were frequent but not overboard. I dropped it off after hours and got immediate notification the next morning that Will had started to evaluate my vehicle for the insurance estimate which was completed in prompt and timely manner. Joe did a fantastic job on the body work! He was able to match the grille I had previously upgraded to and installed before the deer wrecked it, he is clearly highly knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. I live on a dirt road so it’s not often that I see my car as squeaky clean as Mike made it when I returned to pick it up this morning. I’m very impressed with how professional, hard working, and organized the team was even with the holiday rapidly approaching. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs services the shop can provide!
we called Pete with an emergency sewer blockage this morning. Since this was a Sunday I knew we were going to have a problem getting someone today. We explained the problem and he arrived within an hour and he had everything up and running before noon. We can’t thank him enough for being so professional, prompt and considerate of our needs. We recommend him wholeheartedly.
Arielle Turner is my girl! I met her years ago through a friend in college, and I won't go to anyone else for a cut and blowout. I was super sad that she wouldn't move down to the city with me back in 2019 ? so I make the trip to see her when I'm in need of a cut100% recommend this establishment. It's easy to get to and is beautiful on the inside. They keep it so well and always have a holiday tree up!

This office is amazing! The girls are so organized and know what they are doing. The dentist is like a fairy Godfather he makes sure u are ok and comfortable and bam 🦷 out in the blink of an eye. I'm about to go see them again, greatful I found them💞
These guys were great to work with as they helped us with a full-wrap for our work vehicle. They sent a number of proofs, were very patient with our requests, and took care of the install in 4 days. All of this on top of being affordable, especially compared to the competition. Highly recommended!

Go see Coco! This is a small spot in a quaint home-town neighborhood. No frills but thwy do a great job appointment or not. All staff are super friendly and personable. I was offered Candies and tea.
