I usually don’t leave reviews, however I felt led by the honest and compassionate way Dr. Asim Mohamed held my mothers appointment today. He was wonderful with my mother today. He took his time to explain her results and what they mean. He answered all our questions. I love how patient he is with her. He even laughed at her corny jokes lol. We were able to set up a plan of action moving forward. Definitely recommend. Also. Want to say thank to him and his receptionist for being humble and compassionate.
Great experience with Dan Dan the Gutter Man. Called them for a quote, they were out within a couple of days and had the install scheduled within a week.
The crew was professional, polite, and did a great job. After a heavy rain about a week later, I noticed a small drip on one of the downspouts. I texted them and they were back the very next day to fix it.

Sal Lamanna is hands down the best barber in the 518. Not only does he give an incredible haircut every single time, but he’s also a genuinely stand-up guy. Every visit is more than just a haircut you leave looking sharp and usually walking away with some great food for thought too. Mary was able to get me in quick, same day. I had to cut off my dead ends, which ended up being a lot more length than I thought. She did her best to keep as much length as she could, while adding some layers. I did have to go back a few days later to have some of the layers adjusted, which she also got me in quickly and didn't charge me for. She has an affordable price, and is fun to chat with while getting the cut!

I was introduced to Fraktel, Troy NY this past year. My oldest son(24yrs old) has been getting his hair done here for years. He referred his younger brother(16yrs old) who is on the spectrum so hes socially awkward and wierd about getting his hair done. As soon as we opened the door to Fraktel, everyone is so nice and very welcoming. Its very clean with a comfortable surrounding. Tyler does my sons hair and he does an amazing job. He is patient and answers any questions we may have. He helps show my son how to style his hair as well. After one visit with Tyler, he's been stepping out of his comfort zone. My son looks awesome, helping him grow confidence. Scheduling is quick and easy. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Fraktel NY and getting into see the guys:) promise you wont be disappointed:)

We showed up one day by chance needing 4 cuts. We were taken care of right away and it was the first time my teenage boys were completely satisfied. We live like 45 minutes away, but we’ve been back 2 times since then because the atmosphere is relaxed, the price is good and everyone walks out happy with how they look.

Brought my 2 year old son based on recommendations. By far the best experience. He was kind, patient and very professional. He explained why he was doing things a certain way, educated me on the type of cut we were needing while still incorporating what I wanted. He was perfect with my little boy. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to see Jake for my haircuts for about ten years, off and on. He is a skilled barber and and a great conversationalist. He always has some stories and insights about life and its twists snd turns. If you are in the chair and others wander in, get ready for some spirited dialogue worthy of a movie script! His clientele runs the gamut from college kids to 80-year old men. Always interesting and enlightening!

I've gone twice, Leon and Lily both did a fantastic job. I'm a construction worker and my ANC dipped nails have lasted with no breaks. They also did my 85 yr old moms nails and she loved them!

I have been using some of the imagery and concepts we discussed in my own meditation sessions since and it has been super helpful.

This is a very clean and comfortable establishment. I got my tattoo done by Dame and he was very kind and as gentle as he could be. He finished the tattoo fairly quick for how dark it is. This piece cost 300. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Christian is very professional and pleasant to deal with. This is a local small business. He’s experienced, dependable, affordable and efficient. Arrives on the time scheduled and I never have to wait too long for him to come. he’s also come to my house in an emergency even on weekends. there aren’t many people out there anymore like Christian. Jason arrived same-day and was done in about 45 minutes, he snaked the sewer line from my house to the street main line, near the street side, he pulled out a huge bundle of tree roots which was causing the problem. He was very professional and didn't waste any time. I was having nightmares of having to dig up my front yard and install a new sewer line, but fortunately, that will not be necessary. Thank you Jason for getting here so quickly. Now I can safely flush the toilet, wash dishes and take a shower w/o the issue of having the sewer line backing up into my basement.

Johnny Bobo is one of the best masons you can find in the area and you can get him for your GC count yourself very lucky. Bobo rebuilt the 3rd floor brick wall of our 1870's historic home, and later was GC for a number of interior improvements and facade painting.
I can't recommend Wayne enough for anything you need!! He is our go-to person as soon as we need anything at all. He does great, quality work for a very reasonable price. He has replaced our side steps, put up railings on our front steps which he added a beautiful touch of solar lights to, fixed our washing machine, replaced parts of our ceiling due to a roof leak and most recently cleared out our main pipe that was completely clogged. We called him on a Sunday night and he still came that night to fix our issue. He really knows how to do it all! I would highly recommend Wayne for any of your home needs!

Nice little local business. Fresh fruits and vegetables, local eggs and meat. Plenty of starters for your garden, firewood, mulch all the good stuff. AND they bake their own goodies and have an ice cream set. Definitely stop by if your in the area. Less and less great local places like this left.

Had all four of my wisdom teeth done here. Two in March, two today, both times incredibly quick, and more importantly painless. I was quoted over double the price at other establishments, but Dr. Clemente was able to make it work within my budget. Great experience, and I’ll definitely be back again for routine care

When I moved to Troy, I took my elderly cat to Brunswick animal hospital and was incredibly impressed by their kindness and gentleness with her. She does really poorly in cars and arrived traumatized and covered in feces (she poops herself in car drives). I did not bring her back for several years due to her car stress and her good health. They were very understanding, unlike her previous vet who kept pressuring me to bring her in for shots and check ups even though I explained how stressful car drives are and that I’d prefer to only bring her in for health issues, not wellness visits.
She showed signs of urinary distress recently and I called them. They talked to me for a long time, explaining all of the options and what could possibly be going wrong with her. They suggested a calming spray for her cat carrier. I brought her in (the spray worked great and she was pretty chill the whole drive). When we arrived, everyone was so kind and informative. The receptionist was very sweet and asked how the spray had worked, the tech was gentle and sweet with my kitty and Dr. Grant was informative and thorough.
Cinnamon is doing way better and I am so grateful for the compassionate and excellent care she received. I cannot recommend Brunswick highly enough!! I’ve had pets my whole life and they are the best vet I’ve ever been to. Also, their facility is clean and comfortable.

Great doctors! Amazing care! Front desk could use some bringing in tactfulness…when you call to schedule they shame you for not being able to get in the next day…I understand it’s important for my animal but it’s also important for my animals owner to have a job…having some awareness and not shaming a good pet owner is literally basic decency…
