I mean its a mailbox.Anyhoo, I promptly received a call yesterday from Norm and we spoke today to handle the fix, he said wouldn't be today but would be done.Well, my old mailbox had a slight new swing and was positioned ever so slightly toward the ground. I heard the mailman so I ran out to collect the mail if we had any. AND - Much to my surprise the new one is all up..... didn't even know they came.Being in the service industry, I cannot tell you how happy this makes me, I am so pleased with the professionalism of him and his technician. “Home -Tec saved me a significant amt of $$. I had two HVAC guys look at my nonfunctional air compressor and tell me the whole unit had to be changed. this would run into the thousands. Home -Tec came out, took the unit apart reminding me of marines taking their guns apart blindfolded. He had the problem diagnosed in minutes, he had the part in his truck, and fixed it in short order. He's an honest guy and a real pro. what more can you ask? “I made the mistake of switching to another fuel service several years ago, based on price of fuel. They didn't even have a service department that could come out and restart my furnace because we ran out of fuel (their fault). We switched back. “This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot. I don't know if Zack, or any of the other employees who helped me today will ever see this but, for everyone else who does, this is how a store should run. This is customer service at it's BEST!
