“I honestly can’t say enough good things about Grasshopper. From start to finish, the entire experience was excellent.
When they first came out, they took the time to look over the house and the system we were considering. Instead of just trying to sell us the biggest setup possible, they recommended going with two separate systems—one for upstairs and one for downstairs—to give us better redundancy rather than relying on one large five-head system. I really appreciated that recommendation and felt like they were actually looking out for what would work best for us long-term.
Their pricing was also incredibly competitive. I had received quotes from other large companies for essentially the same setup—the same split, similar high-quality equipment, and the same BTU range—and some were literally around $10,000 more. I was honestly surprised at how much of a difference there was, especially considering the quality of the equipment, installation, and service we received from Grasshopper. That alone is another major reason I would choose them again.
Communication throughout the entire process was great. They kept me updated, let me know when they were on their way, gave me accurate timeframes, and even managed to squeeze us into the schedule last minute so we could qualify for an available program.
Scotty and Nick absolutely went above and beyond with the installation. What could have easily been a 3–4 day project, they managed to complete in about a day and a half without sacrificing the quality of the work. Everything came out absolutely beautiful.
Any time something came up during the installation or there was a decision that needed to be made, they came directly to me, explained what was going on, and worked with me to figure out the best solution. There were no surprises, and the communication was excellent the entire time.
Between the workmanship, professionalism, communication, competitive pricing, and overall service, I really don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. I would recommend Grasshopper to anyone looking to have mini splits installed.
