“Never in my lifetime would I have thought that a funeral home would be a “good experience” because of the emotions attached to the experience but, I have to say this was by far one of the best experiences in dealing with a business. It started with Matt when we were planning ahead of time for my family’s terminal illness. Matt was so welcoming and compassionate regarding our situation and handled it with grace and ease. Unfortunately, my uncle passed shortly after and we had to meet with Matt again (no appointment) but he treated us with kindness and respect, finalizing the process.

As for the wake and the actual service Andy, Dennis, Wes, Randy (I think that was his name-our driver) were so attentive to details and ensuring our comfort throughout the process. When you are handling grief it’s so important to have a positive team to support you so it’s one less burden to carry.

My MIL was extremely ill and Krissie made her look beautiful again and 20 years younger (she would have loved that)! My MIL looked so beautiful that her sisters told their kids they want to go there. It was not only that my MIL looked great, the care Towers took of our family before, during and after the funeral was outstanding. This is never an easy time but they made it as good as it could possibly be. We live in Garden City and family have always used our local funeral home but Towers was far superior, everyone in the family mentioned how impressed they were. We highly recommend Towers.“

“Charles G Schmitt Funeral Home Seaford is a family owned and operated full service facility. Recently, my brother Glenn passed away in El Paso TX unexpectedly. He had no wife or family members that could assist with his burial. I am his sister, but due to family situation - my brother & I were put into foster care as children and didn’t grow up together so I hadn’t been in contact with my brother for over 40 years. I contacted Curt Schmitt and he provided me with a funeral director in El Paso TX who could expedite my brothers remains from the hospital morgue to Sunset Funeral facility. I then contracted him to cremate my brother in Texas after we went through some state and veterans paperwork we were able to have his Remains shipped to New York to Schmitt’s funeral Home in Seaford. The staff is so kind and professional.?. With the little information I was able to provide about my brother‘s army military service. - they were able to coordinate with the Long Island national veterans cemetery in Farmingdale to have my brother properly put to rest in a niche with other veterans. The staff at the Long Island national Cemetery were Kind, and the honor guard and clergy was heartfelt The funeral director Curt Schmitt truly is an amazing caring and kind individual. He made a day that would’ve been one of the worst days you can do by putting your brother to rest… Into a peaceful, calm, and lovely ceremony. I will forever be Thankful.
