I need to give a 5 star for what the funeral chapel did to me; the view time was announced as 9 to 10:30 am: After driving 96 miles I reached the chapel at 10:12 am to have a first and final look at my friend’s son; They closed the coffin and refused to show the body, even for a second; This is absolutely INHUMANE and never be repeated. They need to keep their WORD AS THEY PUBlISHED a few days before. They confirmed the time also with me, when I did the phone call. Absolutely outrageous. Sorry to say that
Overall the staff members were helpful and sympathetic. They were flexible and worked with our schedule, made a few last minute adjustments for us. Had to follow up quite a few times to get the death certificate and they didn’t return my calls - would have been a 5 star review if not for this.
This place is a class act. Every part of the funeral process was dealt with patience and kindness. Vinny Sr. and Jr. both checked in to make sure every detail of the wake of my father was perfect. At a time of grief it’s nice to know you are in good hands with people who are genuine and care.
