79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset“I would like to thank everyone at Beney Funeral Home for the community event they recently hosted a wonderful event. One would certainly not think of a funeral home to host such a fun event but it gave my cousin and her daughter a location to break out of the house to attend. We were downstairs in a cozy room with a cute breakfast for those to nibble on. Each child was given a choice to pick a stuffed animal to create. A place that is known for sad faces were met with smiles all while long being there. Thank you!!!“
“We were treated with so much care, patience, sympathy, respect and professionalism from everyone we worked with at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY from the beginning to the end! We appreciate you all: Heather, Amanda, Dave, both Mike's, Castro (hopefully I did not leave anyone out!) You all made our experience more bearable!“

In what was one of the most difficult times in the our life, the passing of my beautiful mom, he lead us with such comfort, ease, patience and understanding. The place itself is such a warm homey establishment that made us feel like we were in the comfort of our home. Thank you Powell and Matt for knowing exactly how to guide us and in making difficult decisions easier. You are all wonderful at what you do.“
“From the first encounter, less than 24 hours after my husband died, everyone at Chapey were caring and supportive. They helped me navigate a sorrowful experience which helped me plan a memorable memorial to my husband’s life. Then they go above and beyond and invite me to a presentation tonight called “ Reimagining the Holidays After Loss”. This was a truly beautiful experience that went beyond providing ideas to manage through the holiday season. They honored our grief and created a beautiful ritual with prayers, music and a candlelight ceremony that was so touching. It allowed for strangers at each table to feel a connection and for individuals to acknowledge their own grieving process. Thanks to the Chapey family and all of their employees who created this support at this difficult time of the year and always as they provide comfort to those in sorrow.“

We were pleased with my uncle's appearance. The staff was present and kind. The place is clean and comfortable. The morning of the funeral the director asked if anyone wanted a coffee. She ran over to 711 for us. Thank you Chapey's for taking such good care of us when we really needed it!“

385 Main St, Farmingdale“McCourt and Trudden is the ONLY funeral home worth doing buisness with.My fellow Military Brother passed, and Michael Quinn and his team went above and beyond to service our team. I had never seen a service this well done in movies. Every moment within a 3 day event had been planned to perfection, and they had even made special requests unique to the family and my own requests. This is not easy. From a military transfer, to hosting the viewing and funeral service they had orchastrated a reception involving the Airlines, 220 Police memebers to recieve us as we landed, a team of 20 motorcycle police to escort us to the funeral home, proper utilization of the flag and keeping it at half mast, support from the fire department, and even ending it with a couple special songs at our request to symbolize just how important music was to our friends life.I wish I were from New York just for that type of remeberance. Sadly, they shipped me back to California :*(.“

234 Broadway, Bethpage“When my grandmother passed away suddenly a few weeks ago, my family was devastated and mildly in shock. Planning a funeral is easily one of the most difficult things a family ever has to deal with, and White’s made the whole process as easy and painless as possible. They helped us and guided us through every step, and ensured that we understood every part of the planning. When you’re grieving you want a funeral home that treats you with dignity and respect and offers comfort and understanding, instead of treating you and your family like just another business transaction. For compassion and kindness, look no further than White’s. My family and I will never be able to thank Nancy, Jayme, Stephen, and the entire staff for enough for all they’ve done for us.“

1232 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon“I used them twice for different family members and would not go anyplace else. My mom's headstone was over 45 years old. I was concerned about the engraving matching what was there and the integrity of the headstone to be engraved. They engraved on site and it matched exactly. The other headstone I recently had purchased, engraved, and delivered to the cemetery. Again, the engraving is beautiful and the headstone is perfect. Jeff and Melissa were both kind and knowledgable in all my interactions with them. My family was pleased with Eternal Memorials and the service we received.“

603 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh“There are no words that can properly express the gratitude I have for the wonderful service, care, and comfort my family and I received from Vito and Team at the O’Shea Funeral Home in Wantagh. My dad passed away suddenly and my sister and I didn’t think we’d be able to gather our wits and find the strength to plan a funeral service that would properly honor him. But from the very first meeting with Vito, and throughout the entire process – the O’Shea team went above and beyond to support and guide us with the utmost professionalism, patience, and compassion. In addition to the kindhearted and attentive staff, the facilities were beautiful, spacious and immaculate - and even included thoughtfully placed tissues, hand sanitizers, and water bottles. There were plenty of tables for flowers and picture frames, as well as 2 large screens for picture slide shows. Most importantly, my dad was treated with incredible dignity and respect. The makeup and preparation on my dad was wonderful – he looked so natural and at peace. And it was very important for us that the casket remain open at all times, which Vito made sure happened. Vito and Kevin also made a point of being at the church service and ensuring that everything went smoothly. We were extremely moved and grateful when Vito stopped the hearse (as we were following it on the way to church) and placed 3 roses on the front stoop of my parents’ home. Special touches like this meant the world to us during this incredibly difficult time, and the overall attention to detail exceeded our expectations.Thank you, O’Shea, for everything. A special thank you to Vito and Kevin for going beyond the call of duty – but truly, the entire team and services were exceptional.“

Ultimately, my father’s ashes were placed with other Veterans at the cemetery on Long Island. They took care of everything, communicated with me anytime I needed to, and even had someone present at the cemetery for the service. And, I called before my father passed, so they could walk me through all I needed to know. Very patient. Highly recommend.“

“I can't say enough good things about Johnstons' Wellwood Funeral Home and staff members Jessica and Adrian. My older brother was cremated in 2011 and we planned a joint burial with another brother in August 2023. Found out the DAY BEFORE flying into NY that I needed a cremation certificate which we could not locate. Jessica/ Adrian worked hard to locate that and get it to me in time for the burial. What a relief. They really care and I highly recommend their services!“
