My uncle passed away recently and we used Chapey's in Bethpage. We met with Denina to make arrangements. She explained everything in detail and put us at ease. We were pleased with my uncle's appearance. The staff was present and kind. The place is clean and comfortable. The morning of the funeral the director asked if anyone wanted a coffee. She ran over to 711 for us. Thank you Chapey's for taking such good care of us when we really needed it!

I really can’t express how thoughtful this funeral home is. It was like picking them was the last gift my Aunt was able to give me. From picking out her casket before she passed, to the second she passed and I had to make the call and all the way to several months after her passing, my family’s comfort was at the top of their list of priorities.When they came to get my Aunt, they were compassionate.When we had to go sign and make arrangements, they brought us coffee, offered to get us food and never rushed us. I want to thank everyone at Chapey’s Funeral Home in West Islip who gave us such wonderful care and attention. They made what would have been a very sad occasion a true testament to the positivity and love that my Dad gave us every day. My Dad showed us how to live by example and you could feel that positivity throughout the services. Gabby, Joe, April, Kelly and Doug Chapey truly cared about us and went above and beyond.The delicious chocolate covered pretzels they gave us for our guests when we went home for dinner between viewings was really special.
