I have been going here for years. This is what a real barbershop is supposed to be. No commercial barbershop that is run like a assembly line. Here you get the real barbershop atmosphere with real communication. If you been to a real community barbershop then you know what I mean. Supercuts has nothing on a real community barbershop.

I can’t recommend Tina enough! I’ve been going to her for a year now, and every single time she nails it. Whenever I show her a picture of what I want, she makes my nails look exactly like it, sometimes even better. I have really sensitive nail beds, and she’s always so gentle and careful while working on them. I’ve gone to other people before who have hurt or messed up my nails, but she’s the only one I fully trust now. She’s incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and always makes my nails look perfect. I used to go to Panther Polish every 2–3 weeks before graduating from HPU, and I absolutely loved it! I always got a dip manicure and a gel pedicure, and I never had a single issue. Honestly, my nails could’ve lasted 4–5 weeks, they held up so well, but I preferred to keep them looking fresh. The quality and consistency were amazing every time. I’d definitely recommend Panther Polish to anyone at High Point University looking for a clean and relaxing nail salon!

This is the 1st time I've gone here as I am a very loyal customer. Once I find someone or somewhere I like, I stick with them. I live close by and decided to check them out and was presently surprised. I did not get the Beautiful soul who actually did my pedicure name, but she did a fantastic job. I wish that the massage was a little longer and what I got there (Deluxe Pedicure) for the same price I get paraffin wax as well where I normally go. There was also no wine or complimentary beverages offered, but overall, not a bad place. It was very clean and spacious. Also, be aware that they are moving locations soon

I found Christine on TikTok, and I am SO glad I made that call. I originally booked a sew-in for the summer, but something told me to switch it up and try knotless braids for the first time, and wow, what a decision.
Christine made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. When my hair didn't arrive in time, she stepped in, provided the hair, and allowed me to take it home so I could do my ACV soak, blow dry, and come back fully prepared. That level of flexibility and professionalism immediately stood out to me.
I paid a very reasonable $25 deposit to secure my appointment, arrived at 9 AM, and Christine worked with care, precision, and consistency for nearly 12 hours until every braid was complete.
We went with Outre pre-stretched hair using 27 with 1B peekaboo underneath, and the final result is absolutely stunning. I had never tried peekaboo color before, and the dimension it created is beautiful. My sensitive scalp feels great, my edges are neat, and the length/fullness are everything I hoped for.
Tonya stepped in at the end to shape and perfect the final look, and let me just say, between the two of them, it was pure Black Girl Magic.
While I was there, I also watched Tonya transform another client's short style flawlessly, which made it clear this salon's talent goes far beyond braiding. Whether you need protective styling, cuts, silk presses, sew-ins, loc services, or nail care, this is truly a full-service beauty destination.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for almost 20 years and this is the first time I felt no pain!!! She shaped them perfectly, I have no complaints. I was also serviced with the volcano pedicure and it was worth every penny! It was my first pedicure of the year and it looks and feels like I haven’t skipped months at all. Also I picked a red dye for my money piece and when I went home and showered no dye came out of my hair in the shower..I had my whole head dyed and no brown or red dye came out during my shampoo. Great work but owner can be rude and not professional when someone wants a tattoo and you say you can do it then at the appointment you don’t do exactly what they want and you do it the way that they don’t want it then I don’t think that’s right you should always respect your customers and do the work that they asked for and if they don’t like it then you should fix it and not be rude to them and if you set up a date and time for someone to come in for a appointment then you should be there and not two hours late

My Generac generator was inoperative Garland the service tech came out . Had the unit fixed in 5 minutes ! What really surprised me was that he was honest and informative . After serving on a church renovation committee I have a few thoughts to share if you are in the process of hiring a contractor to build or renovate your worship space.
First remember that it’s God’s house and God’s money, Glorify Him Alone. Get the best value.
Get at least two bids three preferably. If it’s a large project consider using a one stop contractor to bring all the necessary subs together. Local specialty subs can usually provide lower bids if you need only one or two areas renovated (ie carpet, pew refinishing, paint). Review Google and Facebook reviews. Visit their website and read through it. Check four references. Visit previous sites that the contractors have worked at to view their work. If any part of the project has contingencies or time and material, have the contractor state a cost not to exceed so you know a worst case scenario for budgeting. Negotiate pricing with your preferred contractor by using other contractor’s bids. Make sure that the work you paid for is completed to your satisfaction, maybe hire a third party inspector.

This was our second time using Scott and we would definitely recommend. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the trees in our yard and walks us through a best plan for them long term. I have the worst dentist anxiety in the world, from the minute I walked in and met with the front desk area all the way until meeting Dr. Chelsea, I was put so at ease! I have never felt so comfortable in an office, especially a dental office! Absolutely the best experience at any Dentist visit. Both Dr. Kevin Phung and hygienist/assistant, Anna were top notch! Professional, knowledgeable, down to earth, positive etc. My procedure could have potentially involved some pain but with their expertise, it was painless. Such expertise that I had to be informed of the completion. Both Kevin and Anna were in such a positive mood that I felt as if I hung out with some friends during a visit. The communication and careful execution of the task was amazing and refreshing. My new Dentistry Office! Highly recommended!
I just got transferred from Germany to the USA and Dr.Bray is my first dentist here in this country. I am glad I chose him. The view upon the lake is calming, his assistances are very friendly and helpful and Dr.Bray himself really seems to know what he is doing. Thank you for having me!

Westchester Veterinary Hospital has been taken care of all my pups for many years now and I trust them wholeheartedly when it comes to the care that they receive. Dr Hernandez is their primary doctor and he is very in tune with them as well as great communication to me on care.
Staff always welcoming to you and your pet. They seemed truly excited to take care of your pet. Veterinarian very thorough and you never feel rushed. Highly recommend this practice.

Though it’s a bit of a drive for me, this doggy mom appreciates people who are good at their job (I have great respect for groomers since I occasionally try my hand at it) and who seem to love my dogs. Doesn’t seem that hard, does it? But I’ve had a few groomers in the past and it’s not always the case.
Bernie and Kenzie are not fans of bath time but they loved their first spa day at High Point Grooming!
Took my 95 lb labradoodle for a bath, nail trim and deshed. All good! Service was good and Max looked great! Price is on higher side, BUT you get what you pay for, so with more money I’ll have higher expectations and they met them!!
Facility was clean inside at 9 am for our appt time. He was ready by 10:45 am and pick up expectation time is within 30 mins, so don’t dilly dally lol.
All in all, we will be back!
So, less than a year ago I went to Emerywood to get my 7 pound Mal-Shi, Brownie groomed. My baby received a small gash on her side from Emerywood. They promised a complimentary wash, I took my baby but she shook so bad before we entered the building. Needless to say I didn’t take her inside. A few days later a new customer came into my job and we got to talking about Emerywood. He explained his experience from Emerywood and how his dog was “bathed” but still had feces on his backside. This customer told me he found Royal Paws and how he called and this salon bathed his dog without him being charged twice!!!! I immediately booked an appointment!!!!! As soon as I walked inside, I felt like we were SUPER STARS!!!!! It was clean, smelled clean, and so MANY cute ties and collars for the babies to wear after their baths. I especially loved the name boards for the dogs being groomed for the day. Just sweet little touches go a long way, and are appreciated!!!! I was nervous to leave somewhat but I had already told them what happened before. They kept my sweet girl for four hours. I was COMPLETELY blown away!!!!! My baby was clean, smelled like a million bucks, was happy and not crying or shaking!!!!!! She looked BEAUTIFUL and EXCEEDED my expectations!!!! Brownie is doing well with her visits there and each time she does better. I love the way my baby looks and how she walks out after her visits. She walks around like she’s fancy!!!!! I’ve never had any issues with this AMAZING salon!!!! I don’t get nervous I trust them with my sweet baby. Thank you for having trained and kind staff caring for our babies!!!! Some of the pictures weren’t in order but you can see how my baby looked before and after. I’m just glad that my baby isn’t traumatized or scared when she goes inside for her grooming. The staff are caring and attentive and that means the world to us!!!!! The owner has ALWAYS been professional and kind to me as well as her staff.

Hugo is an excellent massage therapist. He uses multiple stretching and deep tissue massage methods to release muscle tension. I highly recommend him for therapeutic massage.
I'm not even being dramatic when I say I would literally take a bullet for this man ? dude has 5 stars for a reason!
He worked the knots in my back so hard and so good, I felt it all the way in my frontal lobe. I have more mobility in my arm/neck/shoulder than I've had in years. I can open and close my jaw without it cracking and my neck doesn't make a crunchy sound when I move my head anymore. Pretty sure my right shoulder is sitting a full inch lower since he worked the knots out.
Bonus points for having a relaxing environment without all the cliche zen nonsense.
11/10 would recommend.

Both my husband and I have seen Kay for various conditions, and we felt improvement right away. Some days, I left very relaxed content and already feeling better. She knows her stuff very well and how to manipulate each injured part. Kay is very pleasant, making you feel at easy. Some chronic cases need multiple consultations to achieve lasting results but are surely well worth.
