Went in for a haircut and was honestly pretty pleased with how everything turned out. The salon had a clean, relaxed vibe and didn’t feel rushed even though a few customers were waiting. My stylist took a few minutes to actually ask what I wanted instead of just jumping in, which I appreciated. The cut came out neat and matched what I had in mind, maybe even a bit better on the sides. Prices felt fair for the area too. Only small thing was the wait time was a little longer than expected, but not a big deal. Overall, solid experience and I’d likely go back again when I need a trim.

I have been going here for years. This is what a real barbershop is supposed to be. No commercial barbershop that is run like a assembly line. Here you get the real barbershop atmosphere with real communication. If you been to a real community barbershop then you know what I mean. Supercuts has nothing on a real community barbershop.

I can’t recommend Tina enough! I’ve been going to her for a year now, and every single time she nails it. Whenever I show her a picture of what I want, she makes my nails look exactly like it, sometimes even better. I have really sensitive nail beds, and she’s always so gentle and careful while working on them. I’ve gone to other people before who have hurt or messed up my nails, but she’s the only one I fully trust now. She’s incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and always makes my nails look perfect. I used to go to Panther Polish every 2–3 weeks before graduating from HPU, and I absolutely loved it! I always got a dip manicure and a gel pedicure, and I never had a single issue. Honestly, my nails could’ve lasted 4–5 weeks, they held up so well, but I preferred to keep them looking fresh. The quality and consistency were amazing every time. I’d definitely recommend Panther Polish to anyone at High Point University looking for a clean and relaxing nail salon!

Honestly, I found Shine by accident 3 months ago on Vagaro. Now it is my go to spot for threading, tinting and nails. Shammi treats you like a client and takes the time to explain procedures and test different options. She does her work as a passion.
I went in for a haircut and a quick styling appointment, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. My stylist listened to what I wanted and gave a few helpful suggestions without being pushy. The salon was clean, organized, and had a relaxed atmosphere. The final result looked great and was easy to manage at home. Pricing seemed fair for the service I recieved. I'd definitely consider coming back the next time I need a fresh look.

Fastest stylist I have ever been to in my life. Also I picked a red dye for my money piece and when I went home and showered no dye came out of my hair in the shower..I had my whole head dyed and no brown or red dye came out during my shampoo. Great work but owner can be rude and not professional when someone wants a tattoo and you say you can do it then at the appointment you don’t do exactly what they want and you do it the way that they don’t want it then I don’t think that’s right you should always respect your customers and do the work that they asked for and if they don’t like it then you should fix it and not be rude to them and if you set up a date and time for someone to come in for a appointment then you should be there and not two hours late

After serving on a church renovation committee I have a few thoughts to share if you are in the process of hiring a contractor to build or renovate your worship space.
First remember that it’s God’s house and God’s money, Glorify Him Alone. Get the best value.
Get at least two bids three preferably. If it’s a large project consider using a one stop contractor to bring all the necessary subs together. Local specialty subs can usually provide lower bids if you need only one or two areas renovated (ie carpet, pew refinishing, paint). Review Google and Facebook reviews. Visit their website and read through it. Check four references. Visit previous sites that the contractors have worked at to view their work. If any part of the project has contingencies or time and material, have the contractor state a cost not to exceed so you know a worst case scenario for budgeting. Negotiate pricing with your preferred contractor by using other contractor’s bids. Make sure that the work you paid for is completed to your satisfaction, maybe hire a third party inspector.

I have the worst dentist anxiety in the world, from the minute I walked in and met with the front desk area all the way until meeting Dr. Chelsea, I was put so at ease! I have never felt so comfortable in an office, especially a dental office! They made sure to be very gentle and explain everything they were doing, did x-rays and the cleaning all while making sure I felt comfortable. I will forever sing their praises! Professional, knowledgeable, down to earth, positive etc. My procedure could have potentially involved some pain but with their expertise, it was painless. Such expertise that I had to be informed of the completion. Both Kevin and Anna were in such a positive mood that I felt as if I hung out with some friends during a visit. Westchester Veterinary Hospital has been taken care of all my pups for many years now and I trust them wholeheartedly when it comes to the care that they receive. Dr Hernandez is their primary doctor and he is very in tune with them as well as great communication to me on care.

Someone on our neighborhood FB page recommended Lauren and Wagamuffins, and I’m so glad she did. Our old dog had a bad experience getting her nails clipped years ago and she hates the entire experience. But with this heat, her nails weren’t kept filed down by sidewalks and asphalt. I texted Lauren who responded immediately and scheduled an appointment. We found her kind, responsive, quick, professional, and warm. Even my dog was happy. I highly recommend Wagamuffins.

Just picked my pups up from Emerywood Grooming, and I couldn’t be happier! They did *exactly* as I asked for, and walked out of there with impeccable grooms! My poodle mix who wasn’t very fond of the groomer when we first rescued him did wonderfully with these ladies. I’m so thrilled to find such talented groomers so close to home. Also, my babies smell nice and clean!

My dogs Solei ( 10 years old ) & Dior ( 4 years old ) went to get a regular grooming! They looked so so soo good & my nana & I were really happy with the results of their cut. This was our first time coming here and the ladies were super sweet, helping us with the process and making sure we understood everything. 10/10 will come back for my fur babies!

Hugo is an excellent massage therapist. He uses multiple stretching and deep tissue massage methods to release muscle tension. I highly recommend him for therapeutic massage.

Both my husband and I have seen Kay for various conditions, and we felt improvement right away. Some days, I left very relaxed content and already feeling better. She knows her stuff very well and how to manipulate each injured part. Kay is very pleasant, making you feel at easy. Some chronic cases need multiple consultations to achieve lasting results but are surely well worth.
