So, less than a year ago I went to Emerywood to get my 7 pound Mal-Shi, Brownie groomed. My baby received a small gash on her side from Emerywood. They promised a complimentary wash, I took my baby but she shook so bad before we entered the building. Needless to say I didn’t take her inside. A few days later a new customer came into my job and we got to talking about Emerywood. He explained his experience from Emerywood and how his dog was “bathed” but still had feces on his backside. I’ve been taking my dog, Pig, to Royal Paws for the better part of 6 years. She is eleven years old and cranky, she hates a bath and she hates her nails clipped. She hates other people, she hates leaving the house, and she hates being handled. However, they care for her with kindness and patience every time. It’s always super quick, she comes home smelling great, and clipped perfectly. Her cuts last a while and it’s completely worth the cost. I’ll continue to trust my girl with the folks at Royal Paws hopefully for the next 6 years.
my dogs name is basil and today i found out that he has some aggressive tendencies at the groomers that i was unaware of. im writing this review because every groom they handled him with patience, calmness, and gentleness and i leave satisfied every time. they never made his aggression a burden to me or him and i only learned about because im moving and they wanted to make sure he has a good groomer that’s ready for him. if i wasn’t moving i’d never leave this groomer and im really sad to. they do an amazing poodle cut and a really good job educating me, his anxious momma. thank you for all you guys do!
