As a sufferer of osteoporosis and arthritis, the benefits have been quite outstanding for me. I have increased my bone density from osteoporosis to osteopenia in my back and to within the normal range in my hips. My arthritic knees have stopped hurting due to the leg muscles I have built up. This is definitely due to my Pilates lessons as I take no medications for these conditions. As an added benefit, my rib cage is more defined, the muscles I have built are long and lean and I am so much more flexible. I started with private lessons intending to move on to group lessons but the benefits I have had from individual attention and tuition have made me want to stick with one on one lessons. This is a warm and friendly studio where every client is made to feel valued and appreciated. I cannot recommend highly enough!“

“I have been going to Bodywise 1-on 1 over the years. I highly recommend. Skip is the owner and one of the trainers. He offers a highly personalized plan fitted towards your goals and body type. He provides a comprehensive outline to achieve your goals. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of fitness. He understands how hard it is to loose weight and provides great advise and motivation. There are various personal training packages to choose from. I also participate in spinn classes to get my cardio in. I love the flexibility of the personal training sessions because my work hours change. Personal training sessions are available Monday through Saturday as early as 5am. They offer spinn classes on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm. The classes are no joke, you will definitely achieve a great cardio workout with laughs and more within that hour.“

She makes it easy to follow if you're just starting out and fun moves if you are more advanced. She always has a positive energy and a smile on her face! Her yoga classes are great for all levels. I have been doing yoga for about six years now and she challenges me but also explains the poses in detail. She has helped me improve my practice in the way she explains the proper form and benefits of each pose.“

He understands the intersections of holistic health, injury recovery, and strength training. As a woman, I especially appreciate that he actively keeps up with current research on female physiology. Most trainers don’t, and it shows.
Nathan also helped me unlearn poor form that a previous trainer overlooked and could’ve led to injury if left uncorrected. That alone speaks volumes about the level of care and attention he brings to every session.
His workouts are efficient, focused, and entirely fluff-free. If you’re looking for smart, evidence-based training in a space that respects your time and your body, you won’t find better than this.“

What makes the difference is the small class sizes and the flexibility. Classes are offered at various times throughout the day, which makes it easy to fit workouts into a real-life schedule. The smaller classes mean you get personal attention, proper guidance, and encouragement without ever feeling called out or overwhelmed.
The trainers are supportive, knowledgeable, and motivating without being intimidating. They truly meet you where you are and focus on progress—not perfection. I never feel judged, but I do feel accountable, which is exactly what I need.
The workouts are effective, structured, and varied enough that I don’t get bored, and the environment keeps me coming back even on days I’d rather skip. Two years ago, I never would’ve believed I’d say this, but this gym helped me build consistency, strength, and confidence.
If you’re someone who doesn’t naturally love working out or struggles to stay consistent, I can’t recommend this place enough.“

“Wow! This is a fantastic place to get fit. The locker rooms and common areas are spotless. Over 20 free classes are led by professional trainers, including yoga and heated yoga. The facility can get crowded during peak hours, like any gym, but it has a spacious layout with plenty of room to exercise. Besides the standard equipment like free weights, benches, military presses, squats, curls, etc., they have a wide range of Nautilus machines and cardio equipment. They offer not only the basics but also unique cardio machines I haven't seen at other gyms. Pool? Yes, 2 outside, 2 inside, plus a kids' indoor pool. How many clubs can you get a meal after your workout or get a massage? No matter what type of athlete you are or how often you work out, this place has everything you need to get in better shape.“
