A year and a half ago, I re-injured my posterior tibial tendon in my left ankle and was told to pursue PT to prevent further damage. I was told that if I proceeded carefully and slowly, I’d be able to avoid surgery. That was my main goal.After doing a bit of research, I located TheraPlus which I liked because, in addition to PT, I also wanted personal training. I went in to see Tom Nuzum for a lower back (L5/S1 herniated disk) injury that had completely stopped me from lifting or any other activities for 5+ years.It was a powerlifting related injury - likely happened when I was squatting or deadlifting.
