1500 Shingle Creek Crossing, Brooklyn Center“TL;DR: Cleanliness 5/5. Equipment 5/5. Organization and replacement of weights 0/5.
Amongst the 4, this is probably the nicest LA Fitness I've been to; Great custodial staff, nice equipment, and good spacing.
My pet peeve with the place is that people so frequently leave weight on machines, dumbbells laying in the middle of the floor, EZ- bars and dumbbells put back in the wrong places, etc.
In pre-school they teach us to put our toys back in the toy bin we got them from, yet it feels like there's a secret pact amongst the members of this gym to drop all etiquette and sometimes even go out of their way to put things back in the wrong places.
Unfortunately, I dont see how this could improve because there are already signs around the gym saying to rerack weights: it just doesn't matter.
I would recommend this gym, but be prepared to rerack others' weights 75% of the time you need to use a machine, and expect the chance that you have to go on a scavenger hunt to see where the weights you need were last used/left.
It's really not a huge issue, it just surprised me as I've never seen it that bad.“

4000 Annapolis Ln N Suite 105, Plymouth“This is by far my favorite place to work out. The Plymouth and Maple Grove locations are absolutely incredible - it truly is a community of people who care about each other and love Pilates! The instructors are inclusive and provide challenging workouts. All in all 11/10!“

3522 Indiana Ave N, Robbinsdale“KC is a healer. I knew I could trust him right when I met him. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for shiatsu“
“I loved loved loved going to lifetime fitness to workout and work on my basketball game and other things, but now with the different hours and days we can use the gym due to the different hours for Medicare or certain level of our insurance is ridiculous. People with disabilities should be able to use this gym and other lifetime gyms regardless of insurance. I’m completely outraged and will most indefinitely be leaving this gym. This rating is for the facility rather than anything else. Please reach out if you want to keep ur loyal customer. I’m not paying the extra 100 bucks per month when I wasn’t paying anything before to use the gym for free. Overall I’m unsatisfied with everything lately.“

4401 Upton Avenue South, Minneapolis“I learned so much more than I anticipated from a diverse and very knowledgeable group of teachers. I have a deeper yoga practice that goes well beyond movement and asana. I would highly recommend Devanadi to anyone exploring YTT. Devanadi offers a rich and deep experience!“

600 N 1st Ave, Minneapolis“this is a very attractive club compared to other Lifetime clubs. Unfortunately, there seems to be a chronic problem with having the women's facilities, not on par with the men's. Mini facilities in the women's locker room continue to not function properly, such as the whirlpool it's been reported to me.“

539 Lake St E, Wayzata“My girlfriend and I signed up for a class here to see what barre was about, to say the least we very much felt the burn. She enjoys going to barre when she's able to make time for it and says so far this has been the best barre studio near the cities and receives clear instruction throughout class everytime. Parking is very accessible. The views from the studio are amazing and the classes are never over packed.“

7495 France Ave S, Edina“First class here, John was great. He didn’t rush poses which gave you time to hold and stretch or move to a more advanced variation. And the room was the perfect temp- hot but not to the point where you feel like you are going to pass out.“

17760 MN-7, Minnetonka“Club Pilates is awesome, but honestly Ashley makes the experience of coming in for classes so warm and inviting. She’s the best— everyone should go here!“
“This Life Time location is one of their originals and is quite low key and chill compared to most.
It’s a one level club that still offers a lot when compared to all the others though - only thing missing is no Life Cafe or Life Spa.
Fun fact: It’s one of only a few Life Time clubs in the entire country that has a full size Alpha training room - complete with turf grass, climbing ropes, peg boards, a massive fitness rig with rings, wall balls and plenty of room for Olympic style weight lifting!
This location also boasts a separate and private GTX room that was recently remodeled!
There is an indoor lap pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Indoor walking/running track, Pilates, Cycle, Group Fitness, and Yoga!“

I worked with Marne, and she was incredibly professional but also very genuine, really taking the time to understand what I needed and make it feel personal. You can tell she truly cares, and I left feeling refreshed and taken care of. I’ll definitely be back!“

4153 N Thomas Ave, Minneapolis“The Yoga Room is a wonderful space to practice yoga. Especially appreciated are the wide-range of courses, introductions to new practices and the special events; like winter solstice and how to use a yoga ball for deep stretches. I've gone to other studios and found at The Yoga Room the instructors are the most helpful and involved in the sessions. I live in the neighborhood where the studio is located and appreciate the owner's high level of neighborhood involvement, her efforts to keep class prices affordable, and her care for the storefront. We are lucky this studio is in the Minneapolis Victory Neighborhood.“
“Really inviting space with great people! A get in, do your hard work and go on with your day structure A work hard play hard vibe and I love it!“
