I had the best experience today - my mammogram technician, Vanessa, was absolutely incredible. She was so warm, extremely kind, knowledgeable and patient. I was a nervous wreck having to go in for a follow-up diagnostic mammogram and she was amazing every step of the way. The world needs more mammogram technicians like Vanessa!!!!
From my initial phone call to scheduling the appointment, the staff was kind, professional, and very helpful. When I arrived at the office, I was checked in quickly and felt welcomed right away. Granite Networks sent Michael Abt over to our organization to assist us in hooking up two new desktops computers. These computers are used for new incoming GED students to take a CASAS test to evaluate exactly what they need to focus on to receive their tutoring, then take their GED test at our testing site and graduate with their GED! I asked for an American manicure and it came out perfect — very natural, clean, and elegant. My natural nails look great both on top and underneath.

Dr Karen is the best chiropractic soft tissue specialist I've ever been to. Her expertise is with athletes & former athletes - who don't know they are supposed to take it easy. She keeps me tuned up so I can keep pushing the limits. Dr Karen intuitively understands what the body needs just by touch. I always leave an adjustment with her feeling more relaxed and at peace than when I came in.

Additionally, I had not had a haircut in months, had been isolating during the winter, and looked like garbage. I made a long-to-short appointment (costs just $5 more than a standard haircut and provides more time for your appointment) with Alicia Whitney, and she took excellent care of me. She listened to everything I shared about my hair, made great suggestions, and took care throughout the process to make sure I was liking the results. It was clear immediately that she understood my hair and had ideas for how to help me look my best. She did spectacular work and sent me home looking much better than I have in some time. It was really nice to be cut by a fellow Millennial who had such mastery of her craft.
Parking is up Main Street from downtown Royal Oak. There is affordable street parking which is far enough from 11 mile that it usually has plenty of free spaces. If you're trying hard to save a buck, this is probably walkable from 11 mile areas like the farmer's market, but I was able to park right in front for a dollar.
I'll definitely be back, and enthusiastically recommend both Stronghold Barber Co and Alicia.

I was in a pinch and they were able to fit me in for a cut last winter. The hairdresser was friendly and the place was very nice.
This review is for the salon’s Wig Bank service. I lost my hair due to a medical condition and was lucky to have found Changez Salon and Ashley (one of the stylists at the salon that runs the Wig Bank program) in providing me with a wonderful wig at no cost to me. The whole experience was wonderful from the initial consultation to getting a wonderful free wig at the end.
The lower level of the salon is set up for the Wig Bank so you have privacy. Ashley is very knowledgeable about wigs coupled with her friendly demure, made the process enjoyable. Thank you Changez salon owners and Ashley for offering this service.
Caitlin is phenomenal! She really got to know my natural curl pattern and gave me a haircut that aligned with what I wanted but also provided advice about what would suit me. The overall experience was lovely. I’m so happy with my haircut and will definitely be returning!

I recently started going to this salon after my last-minute appointment got canceled elsewhere. They were able to fit me in quickly, and I was scheduled with Cece. She does an amazing job with haircuts, coloring, and styling. Plus, when she washes your hair, she gives a really nice scrub that feels super refreshing!

Went to get serviced yesterday for the first time and I loved the experience, absolutely loved the location, atmosphere was very, cozy, chic and the decor was stunning. Can't remember the young lady's name who did my hair but she was very professional but inviting as well. It's nice to sit in the chair of an actual hair stylist and not these new age girlies masqueradeing as stylist who could care less about the health of the clients hair and are very unprofessional. It's been a lot of trial and error trying to find a good salon and I think I've found it.

Although Thomas was sad to have to cut it, he did a great job with the hair cut and beard trim we had to do for my hubs.? His beard was down to his bellybutton and we had to cut it to about 1/2 inches long. ?

I had such a great experience! I went in wanting a fresh cut with face-framing layers, and it turned out exactly how I imagined. Khrystyna really listened to what I wanted, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already.

I loved my spa day with John Portaro here at Alisa Marie Brows & Spa. He was so professional and fun and my skin was GLOWING when I was done. People literally stopped me on the street to comment on it. I had the hydra facial and dermaplaning and that combo was incredible. My skincare and makeup sat so nicely for months afterwards. Plus, he's a registered nurse so he has additional knowledge beyond just an aesthetician. I highly highly recommend him. The actual venue is SUPER cute so I can see how they would be very popular for parties.

I went to the Skin RN for my Ombré Brows, and it was a complete experience. From the very start our communication was very open, very clear, and Eonet had no problem answering all of my one million questions. Throughout each step, before care, during my service, and after care she was very much so involved and present. We both settled on my shape, size, and color together, of course I took her advice along the way but she made sure I was completely comfortable with everything we planned out before she took that first stroke. Eonet explained each step to me as we moved through sketching, my actual brow fill, all the way up to my brow reveal. I experienced no discomfort, no abnormal swelling, and now one month healed I wake up daily with perfect eyebrows. Her suite space was nice and relaxed, very clean, and felt welcoming. I overall loved my total experience and will be back to start my skincare services soon.

Carolina is truly one of the best artists in her field. I was fortunate enough to come across her website and talk with her on my first attempt. I live in California but because my husband is from Michigan we opted to have our wedding there. Not knowing anyone there really caused me distress. When I talked with Carolina she assured me that her services were appropriate for me. She was professional and friendly. I was able to run ideas by her as well. She was quick to communicate and answered all my texts. She was gracious enough to set up a trial run for my hair and make up, which made me feel at peace. As a small woman who asks a lot of (maybe stupid) questions, expecting honest answers, I highly recommend Nelson Bros. They are always willing to walk me through what exactly is wrong and suggestions for fixes, and they have never once tried to upsell me on something I don't actually need (even when they stood to make 1000s off of me).
We've had Rick out several times for drain scoping and cleaning and he's always straight up with me. I was ready to completely replace our sewer line, and he talked me off a $12,000 ledge.
Today, Trevor came out to take care of our AC condensate drain line that was absolutely hacked together and leaking. His solution allowed us to have a quick fix to our issue that reuses perfectly fine existing copper drain line from our AC. All in, it cost $400, which I find to be an absolute steal compared to the $1700 another company wanted to charge to run an entirely new line through the ceiling and across the basement to our laundry tub.
He left us with a proper solution that's up to code, kindly explained to me that the pipes aren't connected to meet code and to protect the AC in the event of a backup, and he was respectful of our home. He went above and beyond by making sure that our remaining copper line was properly mounted to the wall to avoid it getting knocked off the old brackets again and again (thanks, other local company...), and he left a clean out access on the new drain pipe (which may be necessary to be up to code code, but if it isn't, it is important for us because our real sewer cleanout access is cemented shut and that's all we have to use for sewer scoping and cleaning).

Ari and his team are the most professional plumbing and heating contractors in the area. They do airtight work with an artist touch; and what they leave behind is not just an air conditioner or a furnace but a piece of art delicately placed in perfect harmony with your house, and its surroundings. Not only that, but once you're a customer, you're a lifelong friend and part of their family. I've literally called in the middle of the night and they picked up and come out to help; this is because they love their customers just like family. It's amazing to see the high quality in their craftsmanship. In the past I've dealt with different professionals in this industry, and it's been kind of a McDonald's approach, lots of employees with little regard. However Elite Plumbing, and Heating is more like a fine wine production, with Ari and his team delicately placing every piece of their heart into the production and follow through. You can't go wrong with this family. They are the best in the business.
The plumbing technician Randy did a superb job in fixing the sewage line. He spent many hours cleaning and redoing it to make sure it was right. Then the video images verified it. We are very happy with his effort. He came back 2 weeks later to diagnose a kitchen water leak and installed a new faucet. He further cleaned up the very large mess in the cabinet.
Dan came out to replace 2 leaky toilets. He was in an out in less than 2 hours and the work performed was top notch. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend DJ Murray Plumbing!

We needed to totally gut the kitchen and we were worried about what hiccups we might find along the way. Garrett and his crew were very knowledgeable from the start. They knew what issues we may run into and communicated those prior to demo. You can never know 100% what you'll run into but I felt like I was in good hands with Detroit Build!
We worked primarily with Garrett & Kristy, and also had some conversations with Seabrook and Jeri along the way. Everyone was very easy to work with.
Garrett did a great job of communicating throughout the process, resolving issues and kept us on track with the agreed upon timeline. In fact, we wrapped up about 2 weeks early! He's organized, professional, and is very experienced! Everyone he brought in was respectful of our living spaces and they did a great job with cleanup!

Renaissance Restorations did an excellent job working TOGETHER with me. I now have a second story on my ranch home. Including a Kitchen, Living room, Bedroom, Bathroom & even a Laundry room upstairs. In short, another home! With a project as large as this was, I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep open communication between RR & the customer. Jamie is excellent in keeping in touch. Any issues or concerns I had were addressed immediately. There were a couple of issues, AFTER the last check was cashed. Jamie has taken care of one and is currently working on the other. Renaissance Restoration absolutely puts the client first.

I have been using Dr. Eades for over 10 years and always have good experiences here. Cleanings twice a year are easy to schedule and when more intense services are needed they get pre-quote from insurance so you know your cost ahead of time. Recommend them for your dentistry needs!!

Talks to you and makes you feel comfortable. Answers questions. Affordable. You name it, it here. Also very family friendly. Children’s drawings all over the wall brighten up the office. The receptionist are lovely. The thing I love most is that I had to reschedule because of a migraine and they accommodated me instead of yelling at me for missing an appointment, which I’ve had happen way too many times in the past. We all know with chronic pain, it can be unpredictable how you will feel from day to day. Life works is a phenomenal office and I’m glad I found them
Dr Karen is the best chiropractic soft tissue specialist I've ever been to. Her expertise is with athletes & former athletes - who don't know they are supposed to take it easy. She keeps me tuned up so I can keep pushing the limits. Dr Karen intuitively understands what the body needs just by touch. I always leave an adjustment with her feeling more relaxed and at peace than when I came in.
This place and the people who work there have been absolutely life-changing for me. I have never been in an environment quite like this, the energy is stellar, the people are helpful and kind. My first adjustment with Dr. Aiello was unbelievable. I've been to numerous "Chiropractors" over the years but no one has been able to help me like he has. There was no crunching of bones, no painful pushing; he effortlessly manipulated everything back to where it was supposed to be, for the life of me I will never understand how... though he did explain everything he was doing so that ignorance is on me. While I was there Dr. Aiello also taught me how to walk, yes after 27 years I found out that I have never walked correctly, this gave us both a good laugh and it has really improved my daily life since. Not only did I (correctly) walk out standing straight, which I am rarely able to do, but the rest of the day my posture was better than it has ever been. My right foot has always turned in and it triggers a lot of pain through my body; when I arrived home that night after my first visit I happened to look down and was absolutely shocked when I realized both of my feet were pointing straight. I had a doctor tell me when I was younger that my parents should've had my leg broken and reset, that was all they could do about it. Dr. Aiello has a way of reading body language that is like nothing I've ever experienced. I have recently started stretching with Debbie as well. She's absolutely amazing, not only is she kind, funny and knowledgeable but I was more flexible after one session with her than I have been since high school. I can't recommend this place and these wonderful humans enough. I have been there every week since my first visit, and I do not plan to stop!

Before I came to Dr. Koger, I had been visiting another local dermatologist for over a year. I took careful notes and had a lot of questions and explained the nuances of flare-ups and my routine, but I was no closer to solving it (it kept coming back) and still didn't understand what my condition even was. I decided to go to Dr. Koger and he took the time to actually explain the condition and why it happens and what his approach will be. I felt more like I was being given expert advice than being treated like a guinea pig. Dr. Koger solved my issue within days, and didn't press me on returning visits. I will contact him in the winter if my condition returns. Thank you!

We got a puppy a few months ago and since then we have been seeing Dr. Priscilla Koehler and we couldn’t be happier. She’s always being super patient and answering all of our questions as well as recommending the best route for our puppy during his vaccines and appointments. I have been taking my pets here for years for routine check ups, but this weekend, my cat started to have some stomach issues that wouldn't go away. I brought her in on 1/20 to see what was wrong. They were quick to assess my cat and get working on what needed to be done, and the staff was very attentive and understanding. The price of the services were very reasonable as well! Crystal was amazing! My 9 month old Pomsky can be quite a difficult dog to work with. She is super friendly and loves people but come at her with a brush and you are now her sworn enemy. (Like many husky mixes, she also likes to sing the song of her people and is very dramatic.) Crystal took my dog's attitude and was able to work with her to get her whole groom done. My girl has never looked (or smelled) this good! I'm so thankful for her professionalism and kindness with my sassy little girl!
We have taken our bernedoodle for routine grooming here for the past two years and have had great experiences every time. They are easy to communicate with and always friendly. Highly recommend.
My daughter Harleey sees Ms. Jeanne for speech therapy and she loves her to death!! She is the best teacher I’ve ever met. I love bringing my baby to speech therapy. She even loves the front desk staff when my baby walks through the doors she just waving at everyone filled with so much joy the staff and ms Jeanne are phenomenal i love everyone here with all my heart. If your child needs a speech therapist please bring them here your experience will be more than wonderful. Ms Jeanne has not only taught my 2 year old to say words but she has taught her beautiful social and communication skills my daughter has flourished here. Also the rooms are so big and nice and the building is very clean

Needing PT is always a drag. But the courteous and knowledgeable staff at Neil King always makes it an enjoyable process. Currently on my 3rd visit in 5 years and as much as I hate my body breaking down, the staff at Neil King is there to build it back up.
I switched over to Mike Leither at Activo as my physical therapy was progressing very slowly after a bad leg injury. My treatment at Activo was phenomenal - focused, varied, and personally tailored to both my injury and particular pain points. Mike helped me transition from using two crutches to comfortably moving (pain-free) with no crutches in an extremely short amount of time. He is extremely thorough, attentive, and knowledgeable, and he was able to provide me with a variety of home exercises that complemented the focused and hands-on treatment I received at Activo. The facilities are clean and new, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I would absolutely recommend Mike Lither and Activo to anyone looking for first-class care.
