Due to life circumstances, I have had many different professionals from the medical field visit my home. Finding the right person who is going to be here is not an easy task. Many situations require a professional who is not only competent but the right fit.
Christy should be recognized for exceeding these needs on her very first visit. I could tell immediately she was extremely knowledgeable in her field and was able to quickly apply that knowledge to directly caring for the patient. She was able to educate us to care for the patient on a wide variety of topics and was able to get all of our questions answered, all while physically assessing the patient and tending to his needs. She was quickly able to connect with the patient, who is often very defiant and difficult due to some of his conditions. She knew exactly how to overcome those obstacles in order to establish a quick and trusting relationship with the patient.
As a family and group of caregivers, we also had several issues going on that were kind of outside the scope of nursing specifically. She has obviously worked with many families because she was also able to address those issues. Not only did she provide education, followed by direction on what needed to be done, but she was able to connect with our specific issues on a very human and caring level. Like I said, due to my family and their health issues, I've had the experience of dealing with many many nurses therapist doctors and a wide variety of health professionals. Christy, by far, provided one of the very best experiences I have ever had when dealing with the medical community, and I am very, very thankful.
As for Christy's superiors, you are very fortunate to have her as an employee. As for patience and families looking for a potential home nurse, I highly recommend that you request Christy. If you want a capable professional who is able to understand and connect with your family while providing your loved one with the very best care, then please look no further.

Had MRI done here. I am Claustrophobic as the day is long. Staff was Amazing, especially lead Tech Mark. Talked me through the entire experience. Offering his own experiences with MRI imaging. 20 minutes felt like 2 minutes. Hopefully I dont need another MRI in my lifetime but if I do Im going here again... Thanks Mark and the rest of the Staff!!!

Silva Custom Design LLC did a great job installing our privacy fence. Quote came in at the same price as other quotes but included metal posts in cement, metal gate frame, cedar lumber, and horizontal design. The other quotes were for pressure treated lumber, pressure treated posts, a wood framed gate, and traditional dog ear fence. They finished earlier than the quoted time, were professional, great construction, and style. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I called in to ask if he was available for walk-ins since it was 3 hours prior to closing. The owner/hairstylist (it was just him when I showed up so I assume he's the owner too) picked up and he was the most kind and soft spoken hairstylist I have been to. I went in and requested an asymmetrical bob. I have curly and thick hair for an Asian and, from my experience, only some hairstylist knows how to deal with hair like mine. I was wary but desperate for a new haircut. The hairstylist took note of my curly hair and he did such a great job! I can tell he has a lot of experience by the tools he used and the techniques he used to cut and manage my hair. At the end, he even provided guidance on how to take care of my hair with the new cut I got so it will look the way he styled it at the end. And most importantly, he was so kind. I highly recommend and will come back again.
I took my 15 year old son to have Shay, box braid his hair. She did an amazing job. She was very professional and made some great tips. Very fair pricing. Couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful first experience here today! I was able to do a walk-in, which is apparently quite rare, but they got me right in and out within an hour for a gel manicure. It's a husband and wife team who run the place, and the husband did my nails. He was so nice and easy to talk to, and did a great job on my nails. I'll definitely be going back!!

Emily is amazing and such a sweetheart! This was my first time coming here and even though she didn't know that at first, she went above and beyond on my nails. I don't usually get my nails done but wanted to try a full acrylic to help break my nail-biting habit. Since I'm not familiar with all-things-nails, she helped brainstorm some ideas for designs and tested colors to see what we liked! Seriously, she is extremely talented and very nice - go see her!

She's very kind and respectful. When parting the hair to cut, she doesnt droop it in front of your face. When she sprays the water, she doesnt spray your face. Theres barely a language barrier because google translate exists(turn the volume all the way up and large font). Very kind older woman. Finally someone who knows how to do feathery layers. Love her! ?

She does my nails and a younger gentleman named Kenneth does my pedicures (he comes on Sunday's) and it was the best full set hand acrylic and shellac pedicure I’ve ever had. Charlie and Tyler came out to begin mitigation work and were a fresh example of professional, ethical and moral integrity. I can't begin to paint a picture of how relieved I felt after they explained the process that I had to go through to restore my finished basement after my sump pump quit and the basement flooded. It is wonderful to meet professional employees when you are in need of their expertise. It is way more comforting to have the process explained and put in motion by people who can feel your pain and let you know it. The compassion was a comf0rt beyond professionalism.
Fast, extremely great customer service, wasn't ready for them in time, yet helped getting the place ready for carpet cleaning and didn't miss a spot, was clean enough to eat off it.

Chris handled our carpenter ant issue perfectly. He arrived the same day we called and immediately identified the nesting area in our wall. Chris used an eco-friendly foam treatment that didn’t leave any mess or smell. He also sealed the exterior cracks where the ants were entering. He was super thorough, double-checking every room. The problem was completely gone within days. Exceptional same-day service and very respectful technician!

Our service tech Matte Higley is very through and very customer oriented. We would like him to be our assigned tech from here on. We have been with Terminex for over 20+ years. Very satisfied with our service especially with our old tech who we had for 17 years. In the past 18 months we have had at least 6 different techs. They have all done a great job however there is no continuity. We have to educate the techs about our nature yard and our visiting hummers, every time there is a new tech change, which has been several as I have commented on.
I understand Terminex was purchased by an English company and there has been lots of internal and International conflicts during the transition.
The way we see this very long transition is,the only thing that has been
consistent is the inconsistency. Which is not our problem, however it has become our problem as I have mentioned.
As I mentioned earlier, Matte Higley is a tech who we would like to continue handling our service, can someone make that happen for us???
I am also curious about 2 other items. Why is it that our area has become a revolving door for managers. Seems to me, that means the top management has no clue of what is going on or the new English owners have no idea how to run a U.S. company and what the priorities should be? Also one last item, the English companies name, I hope that does not replace the name Terminex, because that really doesn't fit here on the U.S.
Like your service and your techs. Would like to have just one in the future.

I have been seeing Dr. Kangas since 2013, since 4 months after I moved to the area for a job. He is super nice, maybe top 10% of niceness compared to other doctors and people I have dealt with. I have been seeing him 3 times a year because I seem to get a lot of plaque and I wasn't brushing good because my teeth were hurting when I brushed, also I was eating too much fruit (I since quit the fruit diet, do not do what I did) and gave myself 4 cavities. The traumatic stress I sometimes get from unpleasant people may be messing my teeth up too. Dr. Kangas's gentle manner helped me get through the fillings better than I feared.
If I could give this vet six stars, I would.
I moved out to the area just over a year ago, around which time my beloved cat, Jake, began to experience some health problems. He ended up being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that ended up taking his life.
Throughout his illness, the staff and veterinarians at Madison Heights Veterinary Hospital were very courteous and understanding. The vets were equally as determined as I was to ensure Jake's healing, and they were also conscientious of the fact that I am on a limited income and did their best to recommend the best treatments possible at the most affordable price. Every time I called, they would call right back. Every time there was something Jake urgently needed, they would stay past closing time to look thoroughly at his situation and make sure they made the correct diagnosis and decided next steps.
At the time of his death, the staff and vets were beyond gracious. They made sure Jake was as comfortable as possible and that his transition was a peaceful one. They were also very kind towards me as I said goodbye, making sure I had all the time I needed and plenty of privacy. This experience was completely different from previous euthanasia experiences I've had where vets hurried through the process and immediately threw the bill in my face without any ounce of compassion. The staff and vets here were, fortunately, the complete opposite.
While I am forever heartbroken at Jake's passing, I am sure that, when I'm ready, I'll have another cat. At which point I am certain I will be returning to Madison Heights Veterinary Hospital for all of their health needs.
Dr stomack was amazing and fluent in letting me know everything that was going on she explained the results and I felt confident in knowing my dog was in safe hands.

People of any ability level will enjoy the class. Jessica is aware and responsive in guiding the exercises. For each move, she provides a harder and easier way to achieve the goal of the exercise. The environment is relaxed, and people are friendly. Big fan, love this place!
