After living in Florida for 40 years I can honestly say that the quality of construction in this home is impressive compared to homes in Florida. As we all know in any new construction there are always fixes that may show up and are to be expected. The orientation I was provided was amazing! Noah was so helpful prior to my move! Kelsey has been wonderful answering my condo questions. Alexa has been remarkably efficient and professional in responding to anything needing warranty attention. She calls back in minutes not hours.

I was matched with Kortney. I was so nervous to have someone else do my hair! I explained to Kortney the color I needed on my roots and showed her some inspiration pictures for my cut. I may have been a bit overbearing, but Kortney never even seemed phased. She listened to me and understood what I wanted. friendly service, flexible barber, patient with my 1.5 year old son. i was happy to practice my spanish with the barber, but if you have any other clients that don't speak spanish or don't speak it well, it could be difficult. overall, would recommend to a friend!

I went to tan today and they open at 10 on Sunday and I got there at 1005 and no one was there. All of a sudden a black truck pulls up and it's the owner. He was so kind and let me in and gave me a free tan. That kindness you do not find. He deserves a shout out for a great business owner. Cause it was just not me, he gave all that came in free tans also!!

UPDATE: As she stated below in her response, Quinn did reach out to me after I sent her my concerns in an email. She did offer to return my Sunday fee and said she will be mailing that out to me. She did also offer an apology and validate our feelings about the experience, which I appreciate. I have updated my rating to 4 stars due to her quickly following up and doing what she logically could to make it up to us.
We got married last Sunday and the salon is closed that day, so in order to use them, we had to pay an extra $250 fee to have them come in. We decided to go with them anyway, because they are located right inside the Baker Events building, which is where our wedding was. I was in communication with Madison in the months leading up to our event and she was always pleasant and answered my questions. About two months ago she sent me a final schedule for everyone in the bridal party to get hair and makeup and had it set perfectly to have us done in time for our first look photos. Most of our bridal party arrived at 9am, some arriving for their services, per the schedule, and the rest of us to begin decorating for the wedding. Except when we got there, we were taken out of order and both of us brides were asked to get started right away, giving us no time to be involved in our decorating and having to call in friends to help, as our hair and makeup were slotted for 11am and 12pm, again per the schedule they had provided.
There were three girls there, Tida, Hannah, and Quinn, the owner. We really liked the makeup that Tida did and one bridesmaid loved her updo that Hannah did. Shockingly, when it came to the hair that the owner Quinn did, it totally missed the mark and she was the one that made us all feel like she was rushing to get through everyone so she could get out of there. She also wasn't really personable at all, almost like an "I'm better than you" vibe, but fortunately the other girls were nice and chatted with us.
My mom's hair looked flat and my wife's hair was supposed to be a low, side bun but instead the bun was higher up and in the center. She had these wire clips with jewels on them and one was apparently broken and instead of saying anything, she put the jewel back in the case and put the empty wire in her hair. For the front, she asked if she could trim the two long strands on either side of her head and my wife said yes, but they ended up getting chopped and were then just two flat, whispy strands.
To top it off, while the last bridesmaid was in getting her hair finished up, the owner started turning lights off in the salon. This was all before 12pm when we were scheduled to be in there until 1pm.
Later, when I happened to walk passed the salon again, I saw two of the girls in there doing each other's hair which left me feeling like if I hadn't paid $250 extra for you to come in, would you be in here doing this right now? All after rushing us through in under two hours, when the original schedule was for three, it felt like we were totally unappreciated as clients and mostly by the owner of all people.
Maybe if you're young, straight, and super cute you'll be treated differently?
Studio A is a super cute salon. Amy is the best stylist I’ve been to and the only person I trust with my very thick wavy hair. It’s always a treat to get my hair done by her.

Donald Taylor did a great job, a lot of hair stylists and barbers have problems with my hair and he adapted and did amazing on shaping and cutting my hair.
She did a great job - she spent an hour and a half cutting, washing and then styling for me.I didn't feel rushed at all.It's a tiny room with 3 chairs for cutting and I believe 1 bowl for washing.They have a dog their that will be happy to sit in your lap while you get, whatever you are getting done, done!I believe the lady who did my hair was named Melany. She was friendly, not overly talking about HER stuff and allowed me to ramble on about my own life and was kind about it ? as I like to talk.I will be honest, it needs to be cleaned.
Today I had a pedicure done. I have had several at the salon by several girls and they all did a beautiful job. However, today I had a new gal her name is Gina and I have to say it was one of the best pedicures I have ever had the detail And the extra care she did was just awesome.

My wife had sciatic pain during her third trimester and tried stretches, exercises, and chiropractic but the massage she got at body perfections was the only thing that relieved the pain and it completely subsided shortly after. Her prenatal massage was around 33 weeks. Had a pretty big bump but the special pillows on the massage table made things feel very safe (not squished)

I had our water lines and drain relocated for a new bathroom vanity installation. Brian arrived on time and started by checking the access needed both in the bathroom and downstairs ceiling.
I expressed my concerns about using PEX tubing vs copper and asked what he thought was a better choice for my application.
After explaining the advantages of both, I decided to go with PEX type A. Brian was very organized and efficient and completed the work in a couple of hours. I am very happy with the work he did.
Everything was installed neat and clean when he finished.

Our experience with Macatawa Plumbing has been excellent. Karsten and Ryan installed a new hot water heater and sump pump. They arrived on time and were very professional, polite, and personable. They performed the installation, disposed of the old heater, left no trace behind and cleaned up completely prior to leaving. They finished in an appropriate amount of time and provided excellent instructions about the new equipment. I couldn't be more pleased with how the process went, from start to finish. We will definitely use Macatawa Plumbing from now on, for all our future plumbing needs.

We are thrilled with our new floors thanks to Legacy Hardwoods. We recently moved to the area and wanted to have our floors refinished before we moved in. Andrew came out within a day and throughly explained the process and assured us the floors would look magnificent once they were finished. He did not lie. I’ve enquirer from many contractors, HVAc and otherwise, all to no avail of determining the cause. Ken and Nick located the problem and allowed me to describe the situation to a contractor as to how to repair the issue.
This company does awesome work. They communicated well, showed up when they said they would and worked hard. I can tell they love what they do and care about the finished project. Glad to have them in town.

Overall, my Baumann home purchase has been a very positive experience [so far]. My last builder, who shall remain nameless, was the cheapest, entry-level builder in the region, and this has been a major upgrade in soooo many tangible ways.
Negotiating with Baumann on one of their specs was pretty stressful. Their counter-offer on their own listing was actually almost $20K higher, which left me feeling jaded, but this home checked all the boxes. They attributed that to higher costs. I attribute that to me paying for a three-week corporate cruise through the Med. [Avoid Ibiza! ?]
My spec home was also staged with suuuper ugly furniture for photos. This caused damage to both the walls and floors that I cannot address because I didn’t notice them during our walk-through. If you buy a spec of theirs, my best advice would be to ask if it was staged, and if so, do a close inspection of the door frames and the flooring.
It is a seriously beautiful home, though, right on Lake Mr. Business, and I definitely get the impression that they take pride in their construction. Both Baumann reps that I have met have been nothing short of excellent and knowledgeable. Michael, the project manager for my development, is dynamite, another testament to their quality.
My first builder wouldn’t even let me inside the house without a scheduled visit without a rep of theirs; Baumann told me where the keys are and basically said, “enjoy and congrats ✌️.”, which, again, is testament to their confidence in their product quality.
What once bought a loaf of bread now barely buys a cup of broth, and that trend seems to have ebbed towards spartan work. (ie no gutters, no garbage disposal, top soil, etc.) so maybe best to manage expectations if you’re on a budget.
Again, overall, thrilled with my home. It’s easily a 9.5/10 and very happy with Baumann, but be ready drop a coin or two to make your dream home a reality.
Best, most responsive customer service I have had in years. They do what they say they will do and they do it promptly and effectively. I don't think anyone could ask for more. 5 stars for sure.

I had a great experience with Mike's Nuisance Animal Control. Mike safely and humanely live-trapped three skunks and one opossum from my yard. From start to finish, he was extremely professional and easy to work with. Communication was excellent — he answered all of my questions and responded to texts within minutes, which I really appreciated.
His prices were extremely reasonable. He also went above and beyond by offering helpful suggestions on how to repair the damage the animals had caused, and what to look for in the future. It’s clear that Mike knows what he’s doing and genuinely cares about doing the job right.
I’m extremely happy with the service and would not hesitate to use him again if needed. Highly recommended!

Their team did amazing work building a 6'x40' block retaining wall, gutter drain tile installation, aluminum edging and fabric install, lawn final grade and leveling, and hydroseed. I had a rather complex issue with one of my animals who had an ongoing neurological problem that required compassion and knowledge. Dr. Swift asked detailed questions that were reflective of her intrinsic interest in bringing relief to my distressed boy. She spoke candidly and listened to my concerns. She was thorough and concise. I'm happy to say that the condition I once considered untenable, has worked itself out with Dr.Swift's help. I'm not sure what I would have done otherwise. I have seen several vets over the years. It's worth it to travel farther to see her.
Dr. Sue and her team at the Animal Clinic have been excellent in their care of our pets over the years. Our GSD has been treated for a skin condition, a UTI, cyst removal, general vaccinations and health checks. They also spotted a cancerous growth on our french bulldog's tail and helped us get set up with the appropriate surgeon to have it removed. Great people that care!

Heather does amazing work! My German Shepherd has anxiety and Heather's calming nature tones down this anxiety ALOT. I've been going to Heather for a couple years and every time I am impressed with her work. Prices are very reasonable.
Emma is absolutely THE BEST! She took such good care of Posie when she had a hot spot and ear infections. Posie got a wash, blowout, ear cleaning, nail trim & file, and a haircut in less than an hour. All of the girls are so efficient and kind. The pricing is also very affordable. This is one of the best places I've ever been for massages. She is super knowledgeable, evidence-based, and manages to work wonders on my shoulder pain.

At each visit, she reviews the issues that were discussed and worked on previously and really listens to your responses and works with you in making sure you get the best possible outcome. I have been with Dana for several months now and she has met my every need and then some. She has suggested exercises specifically for me. She goes way beyond any expectation. I believe massage is very therapeutic as you will discover with time. Kudos to you, Dana, you are awesome!
I have been seeing Heather for over a year now and she is the best massage therapist I have ever used. She has helped my shoulder so much I know longer need steroid injections. Her skills are not limited to shoulders, my back is much improved as well. If you want more than a skimpy spa massage, this the place for real body work that can improve your over all health and wellness.
This was probably the best massage of my life. It was so tailored to what I needed. Leaving feeling relaxed and with great relief to my problematic shoulder. Highly recommend!
Beth has the perfect combination, for me, of firm but gentle massage. She has an intuitive sense of what I need worked on and can find spots I did not even know needed work! She understands when silence is needed or conversation. I recommend her often. Too bad for those who might not follow up with an appointment. They're missing out! ?
