“Noah, the Master Plumber and owner of Royal Plumbing called and showed me via the camera images his guys previously took that the cast iron pipe in my basement is deteriorated and is the cause of the water that comes up from my basement floor drain.The floor must be excavated to remove the old pipe remnants and a new pipe must be installed.He is filing a AAA Homeowners claim on my behalf for the removal of asbestos tiles that are in the path of the future excavation and an estimate of that work has been prepared to be forwarded to Noah for that claim.I'm currently awaiting news on the start of the work but do greatly thank Noah for his expertise and diagnosis and his aid in filing the necessary AAA Homeowners claim.“

When he noticed that the hose he was carrying leaked 'something' onto my carpet, he tried to fix the issue. What needs to happen here is a lesson in spot cleaning carpets. ShE changed my water valves to the city's specifications in 90 minutes despite it being in a small cramped area in my crawlspace. The City of Utica inspector looked at it, looked pleased and said she had done a good job. I was pleased that the price was just 60 percent of one plumber's estimate. She also helped me communicate with the City of Utica water department“

“Not sure if this is actually their business location, but regardless, Big Beaver Plumbing was quite professional and helpful for what I needed.The city of Troy tasked my home with a Backflow Testing request. This company was listed on the back of the form that I needed filled out. I called BBP up and spoke with Martha about what the heck this task was that I needed to have done!She explained the entire process of what someone would be coming out to do. Within the week we had someone come out to do the backflow testing.When Tom arrived, he explained that he had been in the business for a long time and made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing. I asked to stay outside with him as I was curious as to what he was going to do, and he agreed to allow me to watch. It was $100 for the testing and $20 to come in the house and show me where the valve was to turn off, which was fine because like I said, I had no idea what was going on really.The equipment he was testing failed initially, probably due to it not being used in over a decade. He took most of the system apart, cleaned it (it was clogged with dirt), then put it all back together, retested, and the system passed.Very professional and got the ridiculous job done that the city (which I found out was also the state of Michigan), was asking. Just wish Troy would reimburse me!“
