Katie and the crew at Festival were kind, responsive, and genuinely nice. I came into town for an event and realized I had completely forgotten to get my suits dry cleaned. I called around, they answered quickly, and Katie was able to get me next-day service, which was a huge help.
I had a brown stain on one of my black suits — I honestly couldn’t tell if it was chocolate or makeup — and I wasn’t sure if it would come out. They were able to get it out completely, and my suits looked great. The pricing also felt very reasonable for the quality of service.
What stood out most to me was the customer service. I accidentally forgot to pick up my suits the day I was supposed to, but thankfully they were open early Saturday morning. When I walked in, everyone was already hard at work, yet I still got cheerful “good mornings” from two different people and a sincere “thank you, come again.”
That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. They took care of me in a pinch, did great work, and were genuinely kind throughout the process. I’d absolutely recommend them. Thanks, guys.

I’ve re-learned how to walk after flares that left me paralyzed, crafted executive presentations mid-infusion, and even run parts of my professional life from medical supply closets.

My barber is Mr Melvin, and he has been my childhood barber for about 2 decades now and counting. He is a master barber, family man, great father, and an awesome person overall. He cares about his clients as family. He knows your name and what you have going on if you choose to divulge it. Mr Melvin loves what he does and cares about making your cut look the absolute best. He doesn't just do this for a job, he is a craftsman at it and genuinely loves doing it and making people for good about themselves. He takes his time with you, ask specifically what you want and how you want it done. He is very meticulously, tedious, and intentional about completing what you ask to be done.
Lakaria at Legacy Hair Studio has phenomenal skills! I started getting compliments on my hair on the walk back to my car (free parking)! I’ve been getting them ever since! I showed her a picture of a short style with a beautiful nape. Now I have that beautiful style with the beautiful nape! Lakaria gave me instructions on how to maintain my new style, but she made me recite them to her to make sure I understood them! How many people do that? I’m 74 and I’ve never had anyone do it. Check out her portfolio! Whenever I’m back in town, first thing I’m gonna do is get an appointment for a cut! I love my hair!

My husband suggested I try out the person he had found to cut his hair. Jarod does a great job with my husband’s hair, so I decided to give him a try. I am so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, he made me feel comfortable. He knew I was nervous and was not offended when I brought in “notes” from my previous hairstylist. He talked me through the notes and listened carefully to what I wanted. What I ended up with was a great cut and beautiful, natural looking color. My daughter loves getting island twists . Her appointment was completed very quickly considering she has long thick hair. Her twists are perfect. My daughters have gotten their hair braided here many times and the experience is excellent. The owner/braiders are very professional.

I went to Dani for a Brazilian wax before vacation and she was wonderful! I’ve only don’t this once before and it was a pretty painful experience so I was hesitant doing it again. She has a bright and relaxing suite and was very friendly and inviting since I was nervous. My wax was done quickly and with very little pain at all! She gave me a little aftercare goodie bag with serums and moisturizers and other things in it. What a super cute touch to add to the experience! I will definitely go back and get this done again here.

I was scheduled at the beauty school to get a wash and curl but like more often than not it was disappointing because they always have something going on in there that is an inconvenience to the customers. Thankfully I knew that there were salons right across the lot so I went in. I wasn't sure about their walk in policy or even if any of the salons were open yet but I took my chances. Most of the salons weren't open yet so as I headed out one of the owners of the suites was coming in to work and I asked her,"if she could take me as a walk in and give me my desired style?" She responded so nicely that she was able to do so. Even though I paid 3xs the amount I would've at the beauty school it was professionally done by a woman who was about her business. I left very pleased with the results. Her suite was on the left like 3 doors from the end, she's the only suite in the back left that has a window. I forgot what it was called?. The decor was tropical and refreshing and she was very easygoing. I will definitely be back to her especially because my hair is natural and she was huge on maintaining and the upkeep of healthy hair. You have the options of coming pre washed but it was not mandatory. I'm old school so I like for the stylist to pamper me start to finish so no pre washing for me but to each their own. That also determines pricing.

My hair is natural, so I really wanted someone that specialized in Natural Hair Care. I was also in need of a nice cut. I felt really lucky to work with someone who does makeup for Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders! Coordinating times and sessions with Keaira immediately put me at ease. She was more than accommodating, and even brought another excellent artist along to match our schedule.
I loved Keaira's emphasis on moisturization, and on playing up my natural features. I felt like an enhanced version of myself, but still myself. The beat lasted all day, and Keaira provided some touch up makeup to apply if I needed to (i didn't). I enjoyed talking to Keaira - her personable and calm energy really helped start my wedding morning off in a centered way. I received so many compliments for her work at my wedding, which just added joy to the day. I felt fully beautiful and fully myself because of her excellent artistry.
I am so, so grateful I got to work with Keaira. I cannot recommend her work enough, and look forward to working with her for my next fancy outing.

We are newer clients of Valley Dog and Cat. We have seen both Dr. Morgan and Dr. Scherr for our two cats. I write this with appreciation for what Dr. Scherr, and the staff involved, did for us when we rescued an abandoned animal from the woods during the rough weather. They were compassionate, attentive and human, especially today, when we thought the animal was actively dying today. They knew exactly what to do and accommodated us quickly even though we were not on the schedule. The results were positive and the prognosis for now was better than expected. We were confident that even if things had gone south, they would be there for us given the circumstances. They are a smaller established practice with a personal touch and decent human beings. Even if they do not provide a service there, they make sure patients are connected with where to get it and they make the time to help research the needs. That is increasingly rare now from other practices we have encountered. They get why it’s important, and it is important to them. It is worth recognizing this and saying so.
I absolutely love Doc and her crew!! They have been taking care of my menagerie of cats for quiet sometime. She really cares about the animals is very knowledgeable. She is very good at dealing with and handling one of my cats who is VERY bad but adorable (AKA Murder Mittens Monroe.) He always looks so amazing after his groom!! I am so lucky to have found a Vet like herself, and her prices are very reasonable. I have nothing but positive things to say.
Dr. Rick Paynter has been a true blessing to our family. My wife and I have two one-year-old female kittens — a Ragdoll (mink) and a domestic shorthair — and our experience with him and his team has been outstanding.
At our first visit, we brought in our Ragdoll who was a little underweight. Dr. Paynter took the time to thoroughly assess her, explain everything clearly, and provide us with a thoughtful plan of care. Thanks to his guidance, she is now at a healthy weight and thriving. She is comfortable with Dr. Paynter and his assistants, who handle her with such care and gentleness. We’ll be bringing her back soon for her annual visit with complete confidence.
More recently, our domestic shorthair was diagnosed with feline asthma. The level of attention, patience, and compassion the entire team showed us during this visit was incredibly reassuring. Dr. Paynter even shared insights from his own experiences, which made the conversation feel personal and thoughtful. He gave us an honest, balanced assessment, clearly outlining the pros and cons of medication without any pressure, and encouraged us to take time to discuss our options before making a decision.

Had an amazing experience with Erin! From start to finish, everything went so smoothly. She was patient, kind, and took great care of my little Shih Tzu Flora.
