About The Maryland Academy of Dance

The Maryland Academy of Dance (MAD) is a welcoming place that trains dancers while creating an inclusive family environment. Offering a variety of classes, including hip hop, ballet, jazz, dance ministry, and theater arts, there is something for everyone. Students work hard and enjoy their time. The summer program is well-loved, and the staff is quick to resolve any issues. MAD also provides an amazing community for those looking for wedding choreography, with patient instructors who make learning fun.

MAD is a wonderful place that not only trains dancers but fosters and inclusive family environment. The kids work VERY HARD and love every minute. From hip hop, ballet and jazz to dance Ministry and theater arts, MAD has something for everyone.

AMAZING! CAME FOR WEDDING INSTRUCTOR, WILL RETURN FOR MORE. I searched a couple of places for a tap dance instructor for wedding choreography and I decided on Dance Baltimore. It was so fun to be taught by Tee and in the process we discovered an amazing community of teachers and dancers. We were completely inexperienced and Tee had so much patience for us. It was so fun to put what we learned to the test and everyone was blown away. Thank you Cheryl and Tee!

My daughter absolutely loves her dance classes. She’s always coming home eager to show me what she’s done in class. I also enjoy the adult class that I’m taking. I love everything about MAD!
