Damage Restoration near Owings Mills

“My home experienced a large amount of water damage early in July that was caused by another contractor working on the outside of my house. Jose Machado came out, assessed the damage, and turned around an estimate to the insurance company expeditiously. He was professional, explained everything, and was very nice. The Rainbow crew (Geovany, Gerson, and Alex) kept to their scheduled start date and worked full days the entire week to restore my finished basement. On the final day of repairs, Rainbow brought in another great crew (Elder, Andrea, and Jess) to finish my plumbing and clean the entire basement. Every crew member was thoughtful, wonderful to work with, and knew their stuff. Best of all, my basement looks fantastic and I now have a restoration company I can rely on! “They did an excellent job replacing all of my floors during a water damage event and were very communicable with The insurance company.

However; two reasons why I can’t give five stars:
1. When my sink was replaced with a new Vanity, The open and close mechanism that was reused got broken, and it was not told to me that it got broken as I had to find out myself.
Instead of being honest with me, one of the owners originally said that the new device was incompatible with a new sink. Then later told me that it That’s the way it was before they installed it which was not true as I installed this mechanism myself originally. Later, when I asked The owner again, he admitted that it got broken. The style of sink that I have uses a push To click drain to open and close the drain.
They told me that I have to purchase the part myself and would be willing to install it, but who knows how much I would be charged for this, therefore I’m going to be purchasing and installing it myself.
This is very sleazy to lie about something like this and try to hide it from me

2. After the sink was replaced, there is now a slow leak on the main water line and only way to temporarily fix it is to shut the water off for the whole home. Mentioned this to the same owner and he told me that there was no leak. This is not only inconvenient that I have to fix this myself when I’m not the one that took the sink apart and I am leaving town for a while.

Even though they did an excellent job, replacing the floors and the drywall, I don’t know that I can recommend them after this above experience to other people. Beware.“
