I had a friend who was/is doing their group classes and he spoke highly of the gym, so I schedule a consultation with Hugh and we went over all the membership options. This was a few months after I lost my dad, and I was really looking for structure and 1:1 coaching to get my nutrition and workouts back on track so I could handle my stress better. Hugh helped me through his 12 week program and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He pushes me in our personal training sessions, checks-in with me throughout my week, gave me a solid and realistic meal plan to follow, and an awesome habit tracker that we would go over on 1:1 zoom calls. After I completed the 12 weeks, I am still doing 1:1 training with Hugh because I’m the strongest I’ve been in 15 years since being a college athlete, and since getting healthier I have been able to minimize the stress in my life. Hugh is a great guy all around and I’m glad I reached out for my initial consultation.“

I'm now able to do over 10 push ups when I couldn't do any when I first started. I've added over 12 lbs of muscle mass and I'm much more flexible as well. My favorite thing about going there is that they track my progress and constantly pushing me which is what I was missing from the last placed that I trained. I'd highly recommend them to help you get to your goals. They even have some older people in there working out at Times I'm there. It's very inspiring and non crowded place.“

The owner was extremely hospitable along with the coaches. They all made me feel so comfortable all week long. The workout was great and offered a variety of movement. When back in town I will definitely drop in again. No matter if you’re new to CrossFit or looking for a new gym home push is an excellent option. Anyways, the space is VERY well equipped (ski ergs, rowers, stairs/steps machines, treadmills etc) and your functional/cross training gears (battle ropes, medicine balls etc). Female changing room is very well maintained and clean. Too bad I didn't manage to enjoy their sauna facility. Shout out to Freddy for a great midday boot camp too!“

The equipment is pretty new and there’s adequate space to cool down and stretch. The locker rooms aren’t crammed and are very clean. Victoria at the front desk is extremely nice was very helpful getting my membership opened.“

Her massage is a perfect mix of the ancient arts and modern science and her understanding of massage enabled my recovered from rotator cuff surgery, and has allowed me to continue to work out into my 50's and I am expecting for years to come. I could not be a bigger fan - but understand this isn't a chain where you're getting someone who just nudges you around. This experience is a physiological and often psychological experience that cannot be compared with others who claim they understand the body.“

Before starting at EIF, I was frequently experiencing physical strain due to repetitive motions and prolonged static postures in my occupation. I lacked the confidence to lift weights on my own and wanted to learn from professionals that could work with me one on one.
All the coaches I have worked with at EIF are incredibly knowledgeable and have all been such a pleasure to work with. They always take the time to correct my form to prevent injury and guide me every time I increase the weight I’m lifting. After a year, I’m so happy and grateful to see how much progress I have made consistently lifting weights. It has significantly improved my energy levels and helped me strengthen and stabilize common problem areas I had formed due to my job.

The gym is always spotlessly clean, from the workout floor to the locker rooms, which honestly makes a huge difference in motivation and comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful they greet you with a smile and are always willing to answer questions or assist without making you feel rushed or uncomfortable.
What really stands out is how well the equipment is maintained. The machines actually work, and I rarely, if ever, have to wait long to use what I need. That tells me this location is well-managed and truly cares about members’ experience. And let’s not overlook the convenience there’s always parking available right in front, which makes getting in and out stress-free.

“I started working with Compel Fitness in December 2024, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. I lifted a bit back in college but was never consistent, and after the pandemic, I completely let myself go. My diet and lifestyle were definitely catching up to me, and I knew something had to change.
Fast forward 7 months—I've lost over 30 pounds and dropped my body fat by 8%. I feel stronger, I move better, and I no longer crave Nerds Rope or Albanese gummy bears.
