Today was my first visit to this ophthalmology office, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk receptionist/medical assistant showed incredible patience, compassion, professionalism, and kindness. There was an issue with my referral, and for about 10 to 15 minutes she worked tirelessly trying to help me figure it out. I was frustrated and overwhelmed because I couldn’t access or send the referral from my phone, and honestly, I was ready to give up and leave.

Instead of brushing me off, she stayed calm, reassuring, and determined to help. She even went ahead and tried to reschedule me for the next day so I wouldn’t lose my appointment altogether. Then, after I left, she personally called me not once but twice. First to offer me an earlier appointment time, and then again to let me know she had successfully located the referral my doctor had sent over. Because of her attentiveness and dedication, I was able to come back and be seen the same day.

That level of care meant so much to me.

The ophthalmologist was also wonderful, professional, thorough, and made me feel comfortable during my very first eye appointment experience.

The entire office treated me with kindness and respect, and in a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or cold, this office truly stood out. I had come before my first appointment to talk to the front desk staff and they were phenomenal me being a young person and trying to navigate to medical system even the front desk staff, including Agnes and Fah we’re absolutely amazing. I spoke to Agnes the first time I wanted information and she gave me good advice on how to set things up and what I needed to do and then second time I came for my primary doctor visit. I saw Far and Agnes again and they were very welcoming. Give me a new packet and everything and then had a great experience with my doctor as well. “Superb l was in Fort Washington hospital because l fell and hit my head and Kaiser team thought it was best to keep me there because l had two episodes with my heart because of my high high blood pressure. After l was discharged l had home care for weeks and l really appreciated all the fuss they had re my care. Hats off to all including my primary doctor that helped me through my ordeal.“

Turns out it was an error due to their new facility and they corrected it two or three days after my message. “19th Street Dermatologist is the best Dermatology Office I've ever been to. The staff is friendly, my appointments have always been punctual, and each medical provider I've worked with has always taken the time to slowly and articulately answer each question I have about my care. “Since April 2025, I've suffered from extreme tiredness, weakness, and sleepiness, despite seeing numerous specialists (including primary care, sleep doctor, urologist, and infectious disease doctors), undergoing MRI and CT scans, and completing six antibiotic courses. In January 2026, Dr. Eva Rottmann at Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates was the first to suggest Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), which is likely the correct diagnosis.

During my visit, I also had pain in my right knee. I requested a corticosteroid injection from Dr. Rottmann, which she performed under ultrasound guidance and also took a fluid sample for testing. This was a significant improvement compared to a previous, unguided injection I received from an orthopedic doctor in October 2025.

I was very impressed by Dr. Rottmann's expertise, knowledge, attention to detail, and skills. The entire practice was excellent; wait times were minimal, and all staff, from the receptionists to the nurse and doctor, were polite and friendly.

I would highly recommend Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates and Dr. Rottmann.“
