Today was my first visit to this ophthalmology office, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk receptionist/medical assistant showed incredible patience, compassion, professionalism, and kindness. There was an issue with my referral, and for about 10 to 15 minutes she worked tirelessly trying to help me figure it out. I was frustrated and overwhelmed because I couldn’t access or send the referral from my phone, and honestly, I was ready to give up and leave.

Instead of brushing me off, she stayed calm, reassuring, and determined to help. She even went ahead and tried to reschedule me for the next day so I wouldn’t lose my appointment altogether. Then, after I left, she personally called me not once but twice. First to offer me an earlier appointment time, and then again to let me know she had successfully located the referral my doctor had sent over. Because of her attentiveness and dedication, I was able to come back and be seen the same day.

That level of care meant so much to me.

The ophthalmologist was also wonderful, professional, thorough, and made me feel comfortable during my very first eye appointment experience.

The entire office treated me with kindness and respect, and in a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or cold, this office truly stood out. “Totally love Dr. Murray. Came in to him with an injury like golfers elbow that been bothering me for two months. After a few sessions with him and his tissue work and doing the exercises, I was practically cured. Later, when I injured my elbow again but with nerve irritation, he again came to the rescue and I was able to get back into playing tennis again. “Dr Spiegel,DO, and Dr. Jennifer Gularson, PA, outperformed Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, several independent practices (including Fx medicine) and every Primary Care Provider I have seen since my teens. I could not have recovered without them from multiple work injuries, while saving money by avoiding unnecessary, ineffective treatments and testing. I can walk and breathe again, use my arms & legs relatively pain free and leave the house without planning out where the bathrooms are. Their expertise and systematic, evidence based approach truly treat the whole person. I have minimal pain (6/10 resting to 2/10 doing my activities of daily living and working on the computer). Dr Spiegel was faster and more skilled than Urgent Care would have been after I slipped on oil at a gas station. After that, I sustained multiple head injuries at work for which Dr Spiegel cared for me and dealt with bureaucrats, frequent Requests for Information (RFIs) and calls from OMS and Worker’s Comp. Both Jennifer and Dr Spiegel reduced the disabling bleeding and medication rejection symptoms from an iatrogenic injury by the insurance based healthcare system. They then provided both tried & true and innovative solutions to balancing my hormones that other providers did not have any useful recommendations for. Jennifer helped me reduce severe histamine reactions from an occupational illness that caused major GI challenges and shortness of breath . I'm so glad that I found Dr Spiegel and Jennifer several years ago.“

“Dropped a star because I am tired of being told to “pre-register” for appointments, having to correct the same errors every time, then having to repeat this process when I arrive at the office. Then I was asked to complete a paper form that asked for information I don’t have memorized, like the dates and locations of previous radiology procedures. I’m neatly 70 I have annual mammograms and you need to know the dates? Ask me when I’m in front of my computer not in a waiting room. Your medical records procedures do not inspire confidence.“

I spoke to Agnes the first time I wanted information and she gave me good advice on how to set things up and what I needed to do and then second time I came for my primary doctor visit. I saw Far and Agnes again and they were very welcoming. Give me a new packet and everything and then had a great experience with my doctor as well.
